The problem is after the one year you will be paying 9.95/mth. Promo codes don’t work on renewals.

@neil — yes. I guess that’s what the promotion is for — get you hooked so you’ll pay the regular price for the years to come.

@yousuf — I think the 1010 number is more of a marketing thing because from past experience they usually run special promo code longer than they are advertised for.

Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and signed up for a yearly account. Everything looks good so far and the pings to the server are better than my current host. Let’s hope it stays that way. :)
