Meh, I dunno about deals on refurb PCs that are pretty ancient. If you’re really after a budget desktop you can usually scour eBay and find something cheaper or at least with better spec for similar price.
I bought this just the other day, worked out to $199 incl delivery.

Voter1: at that price, if it breaks it won’t be worth fixing ;)
blitz: hehehe, nah it’s the power pack… the unit I bought is some wacky desktop that uses laptop components to get the small form factor.
yeah . thats why im saying it might be useful for some people to look into spending maybe $50 extra to get a pc that CAN be fixed or upgraded.
For that age, parts are actually cheap but they wont work if you have all this proprietary stuff.
The psu split in 2 is definitely a worry. The cord on the power brick breaks = you’re boned. One of the caps on the internal psu fries = you’re boned.
The 945 can handle core 2 duo and that case can also hold a full height PCI-x 16x so pretty good machine, not sure about the failure rate.
forgot this site started at midnight as i pretty much duped it as i think its a good deal until i realised that someone beat me too it, then i just changed mine to the aldi one.

I won’t fail it, but I will say that the failure rate of acer pc’s (specifically this model) was higher than any other manufacturer I’ve seen in a long time.
