With the opening of a new Harris Technology Store in Indooroopilly, Brisbane there is a special for Maxtor 500gb USB 2.0 External Hard Drive for $99!!! Limit 1 per customer.

They’re (supposedly) not allowed to do that. I remember that the ACCC went after Harvey Norman for a similar trick not so long ago (can’t remember exactly when).

You have to love that pesky old Trade Practices Act :-P

I read somewhere they had 150 units and they got snapped up VERY quickly.

Just called the main office up. Apparently they only had about 100 units at that price and they went in the first 3 hours.

There will be no more at that price with retail price being about $215 there.

might as well head over to umart.
