20% Off iTunes Gift Cards at Woolworths

130

Just received the latest Woolworths catalogue and starting Monday (17/08/2009), there is a 20% discount on all iTunes Gift Cards/Vouchers. Looks like I'll be buying one or two of these come Monday.

EDIT: Reduced the size of the picture/scan as much as possible to make it somewhat dial-up friendly.

  • Seems good for people who use iTunes.

  • with the staff discount ,25% i will grab some

  • staff discount is not going to be 25%. It'll be 20% + 5% so a $50 iTunes card is going to be $38 not $37.50

    take 20% off of a $50 card
    $50 - 20% = $40

then take an additional 5% of that price:
    $40 - 5% = $38

also, who in their right mind still uses dial up?

"who in their right mind still uses dial up?", not everyone can get ADSL or cable, or even wireless (or don't want to).

      • -3

ADSL is almost every where now days, and if not nextG is. And if "they don't want to", well to bloody bad about long loading times, there own cheap fault. As a web developer, dailup users never cross my mind, and haven't for a number of years.

        • +1

There are many technical reasons why people can't get ADSL connected to their home even when it is available on their exchange. GPRS isn't that fast either, so "As a web developer, dailup users never cross my mind, and haven’t for a number of years" I see you're quite happy to alienate people using slower connected mobile/satellite/WAP devices or dial up users or maybe even a overloaded public library/work connection.

          SWEARING.

  • stop trolling Zero Sydney

    • I made a valid comment.

I know people with ADSL and they have a 500MB plan, so even though they have the speed, they don't have much download limit, so there is nothing wrong with optimizing sites instead of being a lazy/indifferent coder.

  • Good deal for someone who wants an Itunes card now, but sometimes yo can get 25% off itunes like 2 $20 cards for $30
