Should have highlighted that this is an ULTRA PORTABLE at 1.79kg including battery and optical drive!

However I think T2350 is the old Core Duo not the Core 2 Duo.

Intel Core Duo T2350 1.86GHz CPU
Quite expensive for this low speed.
For this price I can get Dell Latitude Core 2 Duo 2Ghz at least.

Last time I checked the ultra portable Latitude (D430) starts at $2,600+. Much lighter though at 1.36kg.

If I am not wrong, the weight different is the optical drive.

Now the price for Latitude D430 is around 1K, laptop getting cheaper each day :)
