Bit of a Dopey Question - Dell

G’day all,

I’m new in this part of the woods and am about to purchase a Dell Laptop (have a coupon code from Ozbargain ready).

I noticed Dell is also on MoneybackCo, and have a few questions.

1) Is there any way I can verify its working once I hit Dell?

2) When I go to Dell through MBC, it directs me to a page of laptops (however, the laptop I want is not one of the three listed). Is this just a marketing page they send you through to from MBC, or is MBC only valid on those models?

3) Finally, I assume I can combine a Coupon + MBC?

  1. Not really, as far as I know. Just make sure you clear your dell cookies, and click through to Dell from MBC website.

  2. You should get 3% moneyback off any Dell product, I think.

Hi Alex,

  1. We recommend you clear all your cookies before logging into MBC and then clicking through the Dell link (this removes the chances of the sale being credited to another cashback or price comparison website that you’ve visited previously). Once you get to the Dell site you can view your browser cookies and see if you have any from dgmaustralia.com, the ukaff cookie should contain your username at the end. We are working on a browser plug-in to do this automatically.

  2. The landing page doesn’t matter provided you stay on the Dell site and make a purchase in one session.

  3. Usually yes.
