Asus has maintain their neutrality in war of HD DVD and Blu-ray format with the launch of two new next-generation DVD players - the BC-1205PT Blu-ray drive and the HR-0205T HD DVD drive. The blu-ray offers a high reading speed of 5x from BD-ROM/R/RE while the HD DVD player can read at 2.4x speed from HD DVD-ROMs. Neither of them features re-writing capabilities.
