100 Pack of 16x Sony AccuCORE DVD+R Ink-Jet Printable Discs for $14.23 @ Officeworks

Spotted this spindle on clearince in-store at Officeworks (as per receipt), but it also *appears* to be available online in both DVD+R and DVD-R variants:
http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Dat...
http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Dat...

Equates to $0.15c per disc, and the normal retail price for this is about $46.

There were only about 5 packs left at the Brisbane CBD store, but hopefully it's a similar story at Officeworks everywhere.

Ignore my last message, the DVD+R's are available online but the DVD-R's are not. I just bought some of the DVD+R's then.

  •

    Doesn't work anymore :(
Keeps saying something about backorder not available.

    •

      Did you try the DVD+R's?

  •

    yep…
    working for you?

    •

I just bought some a few minutes ago, but I just tried again for you and they didn't work. Guess they are all sold out now.

  •

not price, hope my local store has stock, checking now

  •

Both unavailable for backorder sadly and none available at the Townsville store. Ah well.

  •

Tried both the DVD+R and DVD-R

" * Product SO100DMR47 is not available for backorder.
    * Product SO100DPR47 is not available for backorder."

    I guess it's too late

  •

yep, too late and local store has no stock, when you try and checkout online ur cart seems to get emptied when u check out?

  •

Upon seeing this page I went to my local store and they're still on the shelf at near $50. Got my order in though about 45 minutes ago.

    •

Try having them scanned at the checkout - you might be pleasantly surprised.

    •

Well the non-printable were still $46, if its the exact same hopefully they'd be willing to honour the online price as they have previously.

  •

Online only. Strictly while stocks last. ****Availability may vary from state to state.*** Please proceed to checkout to confirm availability in your area.

  •

received mine today. pretty quick service.

    •

Did they send you a email telling you if they have posted the item or anything or did it just come in the post? Thanks

      •

no they didn't. it just arrived

  •

Well that sucks, just got a call from officeworks and they canceled my order, said they ran out of stock and they have refunded my money.

    •

Another -1 for Office"don't"works, as they have just cancelled my order also.

  •

just got mine, never email me, call my house phone to pick up. Box damaged. that's the reason for sale? still good though…. bought mine 3 months ago for 50 dollars 100pcs with free dvd box (80 sleeves).

  •

In Officeworks at the moment, they have both the DVD-R and the DVD+R for $46 each. And this price is also reflected on the website. :(

I got the last pack of DVD-Rs from my local OW for $14.25 earlier today. The packaging of these ones are slightly different to the $46-odd priced ones - the $14.25 packaging has the word 'Printable' written multiple times across the packaging, whereas the ~$46 version doesn't.

    $14.25 packaging:

    $46 packaging:

Same applies to the DVD+Rs. Hope this helps for anyone who's still looking for some.

  •

Thanks pewpew, that clears things up a little.

Whilst i was in OW today, i took both the DVD-R and +R spindle to the counter to get them to scan it and check to see if they were selling at $14.25, but alas, they scanned at $46. Obviously these were the non-printable marked version. I don't believe they had the printable marked version in my local store (milton, brisbane).

    •

Yeah I saw multiple spindles of the ones which didn't have 'Printable' marked…and one which did. I was curious and so, compared the two product's barcodes, which turned out to be different. So I just took the spindle with 'Printable' marked to the counter without asking to check for the price and behold, $14.23.

I'm still looking for the DVD+Rs though, seeing as one of my devices only accepts DVD+Rs.
