Well you can sell the Blu-Ray player for $200-$300 and haggle the TV down to 1600-1700 so you're looking at about $1300-$1500 for the TV ;)
i also bought for $2200, but at least we got a ps3 and 3years warranty.

i saw on amazon how the W and Z prices were very close, unlike their prices in Aust, so i figured the z prices were more likely to drop quickly.
Must not look at Sony Bravia offers and compare them to any recent purchase. :P

Definitely a good price. In fact, few of my work friends have been talking about (and actually bought) it here in melbourne (Good Guys) very recently. Cheapest bought for W series was $1700 and Z for $2000 (+ free blue ray of course). Looks like its still going down. (Wondering when the LEDs will be at these prices) :)
Wow… the price of HDTVs have dropped significantly. I remember the 46 X Series being 3.5K 1.5 years ago.

Went out to Clive Peters today, Z series sold out everywhere besides GG and JB.
Lowest JB would go was $1997, GG was 2050. Ended up getting the display model from Clive's for 1899 and purchased extra 4 yrs warranty just in case. Good luck if anyone can pick up this brand new at 1899.maybe after the free bluray player promo ends the price might come down more ;) …if it goes under $1500 iam getting anoter one for sure!!! :D
