It appears to be Dell’s new LCD monitor product (found it while browsing the latest Dell deals). Dell E248WFP 24” Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor — $599 and it is not even on special — it is everyday price.

It is not the Ultrasharp 2407WFP, which is not on the product list anymore. Because of its narrower viewing angle and fast response, I think it is a TN panel with 6 bit colour + dithering so maybe not that suitable if you often do photo editing.

I guess with many other brands releasing sub-$600 24” LCD with cheaper panels, Dell’s defence is — can’t beat them?! Join them!
