expired Binatone 3.5" GPS $99 - Coles
This was posted 3 years 2 months 6 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Cheap 3.5" GPS from Coles. I'm sure it's not as good as the name brands but for under $100 it's hard to complain.
Looks like it comes with 2009 Navtech maps. Also has 1 year warranty.
Not much info from the Coles catalogue so here's the Big W version ($148 from them).

anyone know if they come with a car charger?
wonder which is better aldi (.8" bigger) or this one…
spoken street names is pretty cool.
latest maps, the Aldi one does have:
Lane guidance
School and speed zones displayed
Multimedia audio and video playback
which is pretty cool, not sure if they are the latest maps though…
I bought Aldi's Go Cruise 4.3" GPS.
Aldi 4.3" Go Cruise Specs:
GPS Software: Nav N Go iGO 8 (8.3.2_116645)
Maps:
Australia: WhereIs Maps R-17 (Sensis 2010 edition)
NZ: WhereIs Maps R-5
Having problems connecting to my laptop; read somewhere that it needs MS Activesync; so will install activesync and try connecting again later.Features other than GPS include Music, Video, Photo and EBook
TTS is available only when using certain voice profiles - It is not ON by default

Despite the 'no name' brand the Binatone is a fine unit. The only thing to beware of is the plastic case. During 2009's really hot Adelaide summer the case on my Binatone GPS actually buckled and deformed from the heat. Binatone replaced the whole unit under warranty.

110 for the Navig[8]r GPS D35
they also do that one at CPL for 129… also a 3.5….
+1 voteI recently had an experience with Binatone support. I had a friends GPS that had died, would not boot up, just hang at boot screen. I knew it just needed a simple firmware reload, a simple process of putting special files on the memory card and holding power for 20 seconds on start up. Binatone would not supply me with the recovery files just told me I had to send the unit in for a quote on the repair costs. I specifically asked for the recovery files and they refused to supply them.
I did some goggling and found recovery files for the Russian branded version and loaded them with ease. Then configured iGo8 to work on the device.
If anyone gets on of these units and wants to run other programs it is simple. Create a folder on the memory card called explorer. Then when the device boots up it will launch explorer.exe and present you with a file browser. Good thing about this method is you remove the memory card anf the device boots and works as normal.

great price for no name, although ebay no names go for as cheap as 80$, which i bought one had more functions than the expensive branded ones, just lacking the warranty.
