Too bad it's none of the new flavours :(

    • I didn't see any "new" flavours in store (apart from the Banana one), what new flavours are available?

      • +3

Pina Colada & Espresso Martini were two that attracted my attention tonight…at Woolies though, so $2.50 for the premium.

Cocktail flavours. Pima colada and a few other types.

      • These hit my local coles recently "Chocolate happy hour is here! Our new range of mocktail inspired Tim Tams are now in stores. Head in and try Velvet Mudslide, Strawberry Champagne, Pina Colada and Espresso Martini."

        https://www.facebook.com/TimTams/?fref=ts

        • I saw the last 3 near the self-serve check out in Box Hill.

      • Wow, those flavours sound amazing! Wish my local had them!

        • They probably do. They had their own stand in my store, they weren't with the regular tim tams. Easily could have missed them as they were out of the way.

@nubzy: Ah that's probably why, I'm accustomed to the "Tim Tam" aisle (I visit it quite often, haha)

      • There's also strawberry champagne, and velvet mudslide in the bag of individually wrapped pieces (temptations?)

The Pina colada ones are pretty great

    • The new ones are selling for $2.50 I guess its because many people are still curious about it.

  • no such deal at Coles Central in Brisbane CBD :( :( :(

    • Yeah this is what I get when typing in QLD 4000 into the Coles Catalogue finder

      Sorry :(

      • what a load of BS! why all coles supermarkets aren't offering the same deal in all states is ridiculous!

        • I've actually always wondered why that's the case. Anyone know why?

Coles Central stores are the worst.

      • +1

I've actually always wondered why Coles Central gets to pass on these. Anyone know why?

City stores, so comparatively high rent, and smaller average purchase. Ever worked in a company before?

        • +4

          @tomkun01:
          Could've done without the rudeness

        • @tomkun01: Yet Wollies in Brisbane CBD 'generally' has the same prices and specials as all the other metro stores.

I like the current deal at IGA better (but only original Tim Tams 330g, but Mint Slice's 337g as well) $2.12

    • +3

mint slice is the superior biscuit…

      • +1

        That they are!
Tried the new mint twirl limited edition today… mmmm also

Just bought the double-coated one about an hour ago, though I haven't tried it yet. If it's good then I might have to do another trip tomorrow.

    • +2

You won't be disappointed. Trust me. Those things are insanely good (but only have 9 biccies compared to the 11 in the original).

      • I bought them as I have seen some Aussie person giving it to some Americans on some TV show (can't exactly remember which one) and they liked the double-coated one better.

Edit: I think I saw it on a Buzzfeed video.

      Double coat is my fav!

      • +1

Well, it seems I might have pay my local Coles another visit tomorrow then, if they're still available. :)

      • +2

When I die bury me in double coat

  • +5

ah so coles and arnotts no longer fighting?

  • Grabbed the Banana ones. Been waiting for them to go on special :) yay!

  • +1

I like tim tams but are these really half price buggered if I would pay $3.64? Maybe I have just been shopping at Aldi too much.

    • It's like Magnum ice creams, "normally" $8.00 a box at Coles so anything less looks "cheap".

      • +1

Yes I don't know how they can get away with it it is misleading.

  • +1

IGA have the bigger packets for $2.12
But only the mint slice and original tim tams. 330g
