Admittedly the first thing I would do is bury my hand in the mound when I'm lost on THAT island.

  • Price hipster shows that this was $10 so $3.50 makes this a good deal:

    Thanks OP.

  • Anybody have experience with the 8" Pro Tab?

    • +7

I was absolutely with you, a resounding 'Yes' until I saw the last 2 words of your sentence.

    • +4

EDIT/COMMENT: I decided against the Pro Tab as could purchase a chinese Telcast X80 for similar pricing, with 2GBs of RAM and a better cpu.

      • With 1GB ram you should be able to read ebook, browse internet, play solitaire or minesweeper. *note One app at a time only.

Bought a Bionicle figure! Now to wait for that text message to pick it up with my suit as well.

    Thanks Trent!

Thanks. Just bought more Lego. My son has just started school, so these are great for the pressie box, in case of late birthday invites.

  • Does anyone have some insight into the Pro Tab 7"?
Thinking of getting it for a 6 y/o's birthday. It has probably not received an update since lolipop 5.1 yeah?

    • +1

I had setup a pro tab 7 for a friend of mine. It was pretty good value, fairly good screen, etc but doesn't have a rear camera though. You could probably get something better on the chinese market BUT it is local.

  • Pendo Bluetooth keyboard are the same as the protab ones. I was checking them out yesterday in store(blue and pink). Now $7 https://www.target.com.au/p/pendo-pad-bluetooth-keyboard-7%2…

    • D'oh! Bought two the other day @$10 each, gonna have to call the cc company!

    • So I assume the keyboard needs to charge, right?

      • yeah. but then has something like 50 hours of usage time - it has an on/off button.

        • Thanks, I still couldn't find a reason why I need this …. :p

        • @superforever:
          I still couldn't find a reason why I need this ….yet.

lol …. ozbargainers always bought something they don't need …. :p

  • tempted to get the Yamaha LSX700 but can't find reviews online.

    • LSX700 was out of stock so jumped on the Philips NTX400. Will test it out when it arrives - shouldn't be too difficult to return to Target for refund if it's no good.

Cheers Trent. Getting a couple of Power Banks delivered. So cheap!

      • +1

Yep, is for a Power Bank with full high-current output for Jump Starting plus higher-than-12V outputs for charging Notebooks/Laptops etc…. at least I think so :) You seen an equivalent from a local stock for less? If so please post a deal!

        • lol …. I am wondering whether it can really jump start a car ….

        • +1

@superforever: Yep, been proven over & over again. Check out this 'mad professor' Brit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_pzljtJapE He may have a slightly different model as it seems newer releases of this have higher specs however as this video is 18 months old I'd say it has the same capacity as this Target unit. He rambles a bit but 1st actual car start is at 5:07… and believe me, I've been watching this guys vids for years and he knows a thing or two about electricity (to say the least) and it surprises even him! Best demo is at 8:00 where he completely replaces the car battery with the Jump Starter! Looks like LiPO (not Li-Ion) chemistry inside though which explains the pure power output but of course they can be very volatile if handled/stored/used incorrectly. Make of that what you will though.

        • Good price: Check out the article and the MiniMax charger price…

The TV advertised: MiniMax still has a price of $289.95 for the TV deal…
on eBay varies from $199 to $79 direct from china,
          (MiniMax features a "Lithium-Cobalt" battery).
          http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2015/05/the-best-portable-batterie…
Even the Kogan one, which also has "vehicle battery-clips", is $100.

$34.30 for a Target 'Apple' watch if you can find stock

    • damn, I paid $50 for it and I thought it was already cheap then. When I bought it about a week ago there was still plenty of stock in Myer Centre Target in Brisbane.

      • Does it run android wear mate?

        • +1

Nah it's pretty much a run of the mill mediatek smartwatch with their proprietary OS, rebadged as protab. To me the functionality is pretty limited but the screens acceptable (240x240 IPS) and does notifications alright which is all I really care about.

        • @Kikkoman56:

So only the function provided and cannot install anything else on it?

        • @Kikkoman56:

Never mind, I didn't read the manual properly.

        • +1

@superforever: I wish you could install more apps on it or extra watch faces… only 6 available and I only really would use 2 or 3 of them. It's also a shame that you can't get the heart rate data onto your phone for some actual statistics rather than just reading your heart rate periodically.

        • @Kikkoman56: Yeah, I opened one of mine and gave it a go last night. Really impressed with the build quality and overall feel. Little bit chunky but hey so is the Apple watch ;) Everything works perfectly and the screen is a great resolution plus sensitivity is bang on however I agree with you that it's lacking App-ability and the Heart Rate & other monitoring should really be log-able/viewable in the phone it's connected to. All-in-all it's an amazing piece of tech for $35 but I don't think I'll be keeping my two as I don't really need anything it offers (which is why I don't already have a smart watch anyway).

        • @SteveAndBelle:

Can you get the remote notification working correctly? My watch will beep when new email arrived but when I view it gave me random characters.

        • @superforever: I think mine was working OK last night. Will have to check.

        • @SteveAndBelle:

I think something to do with the TRULY SmartDevice app, some people reported the same problem they can only see a white screen.

          https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truly.itrd…

        • +1

          @SteveAndBelle:

I installed another app this one is better, the one suggested by the user manual is no good.

But I still cannot get notification from Whatsapp.

          https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mtk.btnoti…

        • @superforever: Ahh nice work! I'll try to give it some more play time over the weekend. Cheers SF!

        • @SteveAndBelle:

I am thinking to return it, the function are very limited and not really something I needed. They are cheap from China site or eBay anyway.

    • Yay, just bought two. Five left at Indooroopilly. Bit of fun.

    • Thanks bought one.

  • Thanks OP! Went to local store and there was so much clearance stock! Couldn't find the star wars camera but got this little "action camera" instead (the minion version).

    https://www.target.com.au/p/star-wars-action-camera/58368930

It's super cute! Comes with things to attach to helmet and bike and waterproof casing. Originally priced at $79…not sure who would buy at that price….

    • Does it come with suction mount?

      • Just checked n unfortunately not…damn that would have been useful for the crazy little one!!

        • 6 left at Rouse Hill

They also have 5 of the Minions version :)

  • Thanks so much OP!

    Got a Nerf Rhino-fire for $55.40!

  • 10000mAh power bank $17.50

They come in black and white.

  • 55" Platinum LTD TV $419.30
