Saw this when walking to my bus stop @ DSE george st CBD.

$229 is a good price if you can find one!! Better than the JB deal! :D

    Currently I don't have XBOX, should I look for this model or wait for the one that is compatible with "Project Natal / Kinect"?

      This is compatible, you will just need a power cord plugged from the Kinect into the wall (the Kinect can draw power from the S but not the old 360's)

    Is alright, but JB offers Forza 3 and ODST instead for 20 bucks more… I'd pay for them instead. (Which is why I did)

      anyone wants the Forza 3 and ODST games? i just bought the bundle last week. the games are still sealed in the box, never opened. Is $30 ok? I am in sydney and can do free delivery around olympic park. Tel:0422 871 668

      Don't think Microsoft thought of one yet. Like windows, they wanted to simplify it, so there's only one type not many versions of it.

        Yes they have, there will be an Xbox 360 'Slim' arcade SKU. It will likely be out later this year along with Kinect.

      Early owners have reported overheating issues with the Slim. I think I'll go for this Elite, seeing that my friend has got one and done heavy gaming with it in a TV bench enclosure without overheating issues.

    xbox live is way better than psn, and you will find in time, people will get more use out of kinect, than ps3's move, although i will get both

    I guess if your console rrod'd this would be ok, but if your starting out it kind of sucks
    I bought my 360 2nd hand on ebay and got better games for not much more

          for about $80 more, i got 4 games i sold on ebay for $50, get to admire a nice red shell and got nearly a years entertainment from it. So yes i do think thats better than the sealed bundle from dick smith posted above. If it had forza 3 and odst, it would be different

    It's currently $249 on the DSE website (store price).
    So much for price transparency.
    I doubt printing a camera snap of a sign would help my cause.
    They must have jacked the price up $20 because of demand, because I don't think they can advertise different price points for same product in their other stores, unless clearance items.
