    Good work, keep it up.

  • how does the SIM Card work?

    • +1

Like any other prepaid sim you buy from woolies. Your phone needs to be unlocked for it to work of course.

Awesome. Was looking for a cheap solution for an exchange student who's here temporarily.

Now just need a cheap dual sim phone to go with this deal.

Just be aware that the period where you can use your credit is short. When I first got it last year I was told it had a 1 year expiry, later it dropped to half a year and now its set to expire in a <3 month period straight after doing a recharge. Other than the short usage period the rates are quite low

Holy crap! It expired before you had time to finish the comment!

Anyway mines about to expire in a few days just after recharging 2 months ago. Need to watch out for the changing conditions that they have

Yes the sim card doesn't come with credit. Well I guess if you want to make cheap international calls, this company seems to be really cheap.

If you make local calls most of the time, try www.justprepaid.com.au I ordered my sim card just now. 15 cents per 30 seconds with NO flagfall.

If there is any better prepaid deal for very low usage users, share it here!

  • Any data ? I want a sim card for a gps tracker

    • Exetel's HSPA plans are great for this,
if you have an ABN then the BUSMA plan is perfect.
(maybe should post this as a bargain)

anything for free is good, why not + from me :-)

  • I am using this company~
It is cheap to call oversea~
Honh Kong just 1C per min ^^

  • E.Tel seems to be an even better deal! [So cheap to an extent that - is it too good to be true?]

Too late I have signed up with justmobile.

    • It has 19 cents flagfall.

Justmobile is still cheaper if your calls are around 90 seconds or less.

  • Free sim is handy so I can transfer my number when need :)
    Thanks OP!

Check wiki - for TPG deal its the cheapest at $1 a month which means no expiry - as its postpaid no contract 9.9c pm 10 flagfall

    • hi mate, can you provide the link to this deal please? thanks.

      • look at neil's post about 5-10 above for url

  • Ordered one their international rates are very good value for me :)

  • woah this is great.

there's free online SMS services, all you need is a phone number to register with, (they send a confirmation text)
this would seem to work well with it.

    • I don't understand that; the minimum recharge is $2.50
Whereas if you buy a Vodafona $2 SIM at Woolworths, you don't need to recharge?

    • Can you tell us which site that offer free online sms services?

  • brilliant

  • if you want CHEAPEST deals then go with liveconnected.com.au. Their cheapest is $6/Month and u get $75 credit!
bumped it up to $10/m and you get $150.

for data seeker $13/m gets u $120 credit, 200mb data and 1000 free mins to ANY optus carrier between 8pm-12am

    Now thats a deal =]

    • -1

      I'll start my own reseller.
      $20 gets $2million credit!! 10c/min

      (flagfall $100,000)

      • what are you implying? that their flagfall is high? well its not they use the same rate as optus post-paid.

        • Nah, its just like all the other "cap" plans. Stupidly high nominal rates, but its just play-money as $10 buys $100 or whatever. Until you go over your limit, and those massive nominal rates become very real. Its a trap.

          • @freddy: But caps are usually quite alright as long as you pick one that's suitable for your call usage.. and it's good if you know how to control yourself too (ie. if you know you're close, you will stop calling so much)

But yes, if you go over, cap plans are usually… very costly.

  • Woohoo! Thank you. Just when I needed to make international phone calls over a mobile!

    Is it free anyway??

    • …uh..of course its free

  • when you sign up do they tell you how long it will take them to send the sim card out to you?

    • in 1 week , you will see it at the end of the registration

  • Got 2 , thank for sharing

  • Got mine today, hopefully it dozent expire on me again!

  • is there a time period for when i can activate, ie can i chuck this in my draw for a year and still activate it? anyways its still good thou, but dont think my phone is unlocked lol.

    • +1

If your phone is locked to Vodafone then it'll work, Lebara piggybacks on their network

  • it's been a week and I still haven't got mine yet :(

  • rec'd 2 today……cheers
