Damn great price, but a bit too far out for pick up…

Reckon Dan Murphy's would price match this?

    • +1

Only within a certain distance. In which case you are best going to the OP, to support his/her business.

      • Would definitely love to support the OP for initiating this bargain… Wonder if delivery is possible and at what cost?

        • +1

Says pick up only. I suspect this is a loss leader to get you into store. You would need to get someone to pick up and deliver for you.

@bargain_knight: I wouldn't be so sure. $40 cartons of Hoegaarden come up every few months. Great price for a great beer, so this gets my tick of approval!

Dan would match if it's an advertised Price eg catalogue or News paper…..online adds don't count ….people could create fake web sites just to get Price matched ……

      • Dan and First Choice have previously price matched for me by calling the store.

        • To get a price match OP's store would need to be within 10km from a Dan Murphys store…not sure about First Choice's policy

    • Just buy the Hollandia for $29.90/24 at Dan Murhpys. Best beer. Lowest price.

Now how many slabs do you reckon I can take on the #59 tram?

    • +2

If it is an accessible tram then you can take a wheelchair and stack it up!

Off the topic, anyone knows where to buy a Hoegaarden glass?:)

      • +1

Interesting.. I have a few at home, might flog them on ebay at this price.

        • +2

Indeed, I have quite a few, erm, souveniers from the Belgian Beer Cafe.

      • Lol thats like $60 for two inc postage.
I had one for free for buying a six pack, it just need a partner, aren't going to spend that much money :)

  • Great price. Pity im in brisbane haha

  • The like wine, so sell beers cheap

  • so you can't buy online and pickup in store

  • just bought a slab.. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !

  • Picked it up for $42 in the last sale, was my first time trying wheat beer. Not a fan. Too bubbly.

    • Bubby? Hoegaarden is light on the fizz. It gets a decent head on it, but after that it's almost a shandy.

    • Agree.Wheat beer is an acquired taste. Its going cheap to get rid of it. Hollandia is a Heineken copy but of $29.95 at Dan Murphys

  • Too far for me, but great deal. Does anyone in the Western Suburbs drink this? I thought it was all methamphetamines out there….

    (Ducks for cover)

Anyone know where slutgaarden is i cant seem to find it anywhere

  • I tried this beer, fancy label but the aftertaste is not great. Wouldn't recommend.

    • Same with most wheat beets
