        That was only the 'New' 3DS consoles, and most people getting a 'New' 3ds would already have a charger from their previous console. Those who didn't could buy one for around $10.

        @BradleyDS2: I was in the boat that didn't have one. And from memory it was $20. Just annoying when you buy it and don't realise it doesn't come with one. Anyway not a problem with the switch which is good to hear

        @kev98: Nintendo said that they removed the cost of the charger from the cost of the console, so for many, it was $20 saved, and for those that didn't have one already, it was a mild inconvenience.
        The idea was that most people getting a 'New' 3DS would be upgrading from the older model, and it was likely that some people that weren't would have owned a DSi in the past, so it was a good move in theory.

        Sadly, some people think it was just a move to make extra profit, while it was actually to save the consumer some money.

        With the switch, it's the opposite problem. Every accessory that shares comes with a USB C cable.

    Not if you own Blur from 2010 (made by Bizarre Creations, the guys who made Project Gotham Racing series). It is better on every conceivable level & costs less than half the price of this thing second-hand. I still think it's the best arcade racer ever made (not to mention the most criminally ignored). But then again, you may like Mario Kart more. I like them both, but Blur is on another level.
