Anyway the best thing about this deal is probably the ASUS M51SN series of laptops.

Already the cheapest around for the specs you end up picking up the AP003G model (2.5GHz 2GB Ram) for $1706.40.

The EEE PC in the Chatswood store sells for $487 so you end up getting it for like $438.

Ram upgrades are like $45 (not installed) for 1GB or $99 for 2GB. Linux won’t show more than 1GB so you would want Windows XP maybe.
