Ummm something seems wrong there… the 16gb version is more expensive than the 128gb version…. ??

    • +1

Gotta be in it to win it!

    • +2

I think the 128GB version was prone to more issues. Mine had a complete catastrophic meltdown with the first 9 months. Good phone when it works though.

  • +9

finally affordable iphone. steve jobs will be smiling from above

    • +7

More like rolling in his grave, Apple tax is real.

      Terrible feedback! Buyer beware.

      • +2

        Ay, caramba!

Buyer beware, don't you mean buyer run away! I wouldn't send my mother-in-law to this place… Well, maybe I would.

      • well there are some with + too.. soooo, have fun gambling!

        • +2

The plus ones are mostly the cheap accessories. The neg ones are mostly the expensive iPhones.
It looks like a higher risk gamble, the more and more I keep reading.

    • +2

damn, that's terrible. would not recommend buying.

looks like a few people here are the gambling type.

  • 18 silver, 1 grey now

    • Out of stock now.

I was about to buy one… but wasted time reading the feedback.
Maybe I dodged a bullet from this dodgy/scamming business.

Gold is available at This Listing.

  • is it apple certified refurbished?

    • probably not.

  • dang it, i'm not going to be supporting this as I have had 2 of my iphone 6 stolen and it could be one of them!

    Imei number 355737072456781

in case anyone got this, this reported to police already. I'll reward nonetheless

    • +2

Sucks that you've had an iPhone 6 stolen, but there are stacks of sellers on eBay selling secondhand/refurbed iPhones, do you have any reason to believe that this seller has your phone?

    • there's tools out there that change your serial number / IMEI so practically 0 chance of your IMEI resurfacing
its the reason why they took down the iCloud activation lock checker because that's what hackers were using to make up serial numbers

      • No reason to believe its them, but commenting on not supporting 2nd hand sellers and just buying new off a reputable authorised reseller or hook up a network.

Money is priority to most people so its futile I know but its the thought that counts

      • My understanding is that changing the IMEI of an iphone is a sophisticated task. It would be easier and potentially less illegal to ship it overseas where the IMEI is not blocked than to risk changing it.

        • I'm not so sure. Was in Shenzhen recently and I saw some IMEI changing happening… crazy stuff (that is far beyond me)
It looked quite similar to changing the serial number

oh man got excited. needed a cheap iphone for old man to use & abuse but if the battery is draining too quick. no point giving something thats gonna frustrate him :(

  • they will receive a negative feedback from me.

    • do you get to leave feedback when they cancel?

      • yes, when you go to your purchase history you will see your order. and have the option to leave a feedback

        • …EXCEPT when the buyer has asked to cancel the order - which is probably why the seller has selected that.

So if you want to leave feedback that is not positive, don't click accept to the seller's request to cancel that they have raised.

"If your buyer cancels a purchase, they can't leave you negative or neutral Feedback or low detailed seller ratings about the transaction."

          https://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/cancel-transaction-process.…

        • @odysseus: I didn't receive a cancellation request yet, all I got this email.

will wait and see how it goes.

    • +3

Same. Also wrote to ebay about the dodgy use of "Buyer asked to cancel the order" to me that was the worst part!

  • Sounds like someone made a pricing mistake. I was just on Facebook classified group, saw these selling for $400+.

  • Cancelled my order… and it won't let me leave feedback either!

Does anyone have any ideas how to send a message to the seller that this isn't acceptable?

    • Don't worry about it m8. You just dodged a bullet.
