  • just mention its the black edition in the title

    • Done.

  • Just got mine from the Amazon UK deal.
Approx $875AUD (including delivery) after conversion.

    • Nice. is that deal still available?

      • I ordered from the same deal. Don't think it's available now but there was a couple of FTW versions available for around the $950 mark delivered.

        • is it better than this Black Edition?

        • @webtherapist: better cooling and maybe 1-2% performance. But a massive price jump

      • It is no longer available

    • Mine says preparing for despatch. Nice to know others are starting to receive them.

      • I got mine today. Warning though my one did not come in althe classic brown discrete Amazon box. So I had a 1080ti sitting on my front door in plain view - with the EVGA 1080ti packaging in full view

i have my 1070 delivered like that last year from amazon. i was like wtf…totally spoiled the fun for my room mate…it was a gift for him….and he was the one signed the package…

    • Waiting for mine too!

    • Just installed mine,

Runs very loud (hissing noise), are you getting that too?

      • mine is all right, maybe download EVGA precision XOC, and change fan profile to check any improvement.

got my black edition last Tuesday, took 5 day only from France to Melbourne (Thursday to Monday). Was not home Monday, so picked up from my news agency Tuesday. Mine come in DHL bag, so the box was battered, but the card was perfect. Glad I ordered through amazon uk, my harvey norman order is still in processing after 3 weeks.

Might snap up a few of these for my crypto mining farm :)

    • I never understand why people post these 'jokes' - they are stupid, unhelpful and worst of not funny.

And to top it all off - 1080tis are not used for mining due to the high cost to performance ratio

      • -2

One should never joke about buttcoins. NEVER!

        • Jokes are meant to be funny

      • "1080tis are not used for mining" err, ok.

        Incorrect!

1070s and 1080TIs are the most popular for mining currently.

        • I was looking at benchmarks of this card. For gaming, compared to my 1070 GTX, frame rates are about 50% faster, but the power draw is 50% more. So the power efficiency is the same.

This is an extremely powerful card and can drive a 4K monitor without issues, unlike the 1070 GTX.

        • Exactly right MissKitty, got myself a 1080ti and 4 x 1070s in one rig, contemplating grabbing this one to add.

The AMD cards are slowing down in terms of ETH, unsure if the issues will be resolved. While the NVIDIA are expensive, they have good resale value and excellent hash rates vs power consumption.

  • Amazon and Newegg are both out of stock now.

  • Thanks for the advice further up, grabbed an SC2 for $988 delivered, can't go wrong when at least $1200 locally at reputable stores.
