Nintendo Switch + 1 Game (Mario + Rabbids) $445.05 @ EB Games eBay

740
PERK10

The Nintendo Switch bundle is $445.05 shipped from EB Games eBay. Available in neon & Grey

Mario + Rabbids costs $69 and has gotten excellent reviews. If you don't like it, it's worth $39 cash or $50 credit at CeX (and probably EB Games).

That makes the console cost ~$400 which is the cheapest it's been in a little while and is definitely the cheapest price right now.

So.. so tempting.. I just splashed $2,000 on a gaming computer & I definitely am getting a Switch before my Europe trip next June. If I buy it now I won't be getting much use out of it. Do you think prices next June will be cheaper/ same but different deal?

      • +3

        I'm sorry, what?

        • +3

@PictureMeBroken: Woah man, I'm sorry. I just thought it might give people context as to whether I should jump in at this price considering I recently have acquired a gaming PC and am a little struck for time. I didn't mean to offend dude..

    • +4

Honestly I don't think prices will drop below $350 by next June. Unless you were planning on buying Mario + Rabbids I would suggest waiting for a proper <$400 deal, especially since you said you won't be using it much right now.

    • +1

If you really want Mario+Rabbids then get on this deal. If you really just want a Switch (which I highly recommend) then you could just wait for another ~$380 deal to pop up. Don't expect Nintendo products to have any substantial discounts.

  • How cheap has the Switch been in the past? Worth getting it now or waiting for holiday sales?

    • +2

      As low as $374.

If you want Mario + Rabbids, this is a pretty awesome deal!

      • +2

From recent memory there was this deal but no games included: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/329641

I wouldn't be surprised if we did see a cheaper Xmas bundle out to combat Xbox One X release..

      • +3

        Seems reasonable to me then

Was gonna get Destiny 2 on PC but now I'm heavily considering getting Mario Odyssey and this instead

    • +3

For Aussie stock, the cheapest to date has been $380 for a new console standalone (EB Games eBay, September). $347 for a refurbished one.

You can buy a refurbished one using this deal right now for $385, standalone.

  • +10

Give me Mario odyssey deal :)

  • +1

I bought this in store for $489 :( all well, guess that's the no waiting for shipping tax..

  • +4

trade value for the game is $29 at eb

  • -6

Will buy a Switch when it comes down to $250-$300 and the Pokemon RPG game comes out :D

    • I'm waiting for Xmas deals bundles which I believe will be competitive price by then. This is a great deal tho with the game for those who don't want to wait till near end of the year lol

    • +4

I highly doubt that the console will drop to less than $300 even when the time comes for the Pokémon RPG..

    • I would jump when it's sub-$400. I think it's more likely that a Switch v.2 comes out before the console retails for less than $400.

At the point you might be able to get the v.1 for sub-$400.

      • +2

Switch v2? It hasn't even been a year.

    • Thanks, keep us updated

  • If anyone in ADL wants to swap the Mario + Rabbids game for a brand new Mario Kart when they get it let me know.

    • +1

I'd seriously consider it - not in Adelaide anymore but visiting a couple of times before Christmas.

      • Not a prob, PM but gotta be sealed and new.

        • Is your MarioKart sealed and new?

        • It never came sealed from EB Games, but yes, new. Sale sticker still on the front, decided to go digital with the eShop voucher sale a few weeks back

  • +6

I over heard an eb employee stating they have their black fridày sale coming up soon. Don't know what it will have on offer but could be worth a wait.

  • good deal for the switch!

  • Bit of a long shot but is there any way to make this pick-up?

    • Nope. It gets delivered by road mail.

  • Thanks OP, have been on the fence for a while and decided to finally pull the trigger.

Not really keen on the Mario + Rabbids game so I’ll eBay that and hopefully it brings it to around $400 or so which is decent. Not quite the best ever price but close enough.

I’ve sold my old PS3 and Wii that were gathering dust and the Wii U will get sold off, so should come out in front still. :)

Going on a on holiday with the family just before Christmas so this should provide some good gaming fun on the go.

    • +4

You should give Rabbids a go. It's a really good game and well worth playing through before selling.

      • Yeah definitely worth playing once then sell it. Theres no replay value at all really unless you just enjoyed the game a whole lot. Value wouldnt really drop a whole lot for playing it anyway.

  • Done will be picking up odyssey for $62 on friday and waiting for my switch to rock up on Tuesday. Cheers OP!!!!!

    • can you share where you got mario odyssey for $62? thanks

      • +3

Big W have that price :)

  • +1

trying really hard not to pull the trigger here… hoping there is a cheaper sell somewhere at black friday or xmas time…

    • This is a good deal but im pretty sure it will get cheaper at some point.

      • It’ll always get cheaper, just depends how long you want to sit on the sidelines :) perhaps we see a $399 bundle deal for Christmas but unlikely I reckon. Time will tell.

        • Yeah I think you're right but I have a feeling about a year later it should see a fairly large drop. Like I dunno how much but I'm guessing it should happen like that.

        • @MrSammyMcG: I have until June 28th to purchase a Switch before I venture off around Europe for 3 months.. Fingers crossed it drops even a little by then.. Least EB will have another Mid Year Sale by then too..

  • +3

nice price OP, unfortunately I am not going to pull the trigger yet. I already have too many consoles and I don't need another one !!

  • +1

OMG hold out or buy…. need to buy the kids this for xmas anyway…

    • +5

Just hold, the real deals are yet to come -_-

      • I feel you man! I'm going to be strong and hold.. The jolly old man in Red surely has to whip up a mean Xmas deal!

  • EB Games have a deal for trading in a 3DS XL + one game for a
$120 discount on the switch. We have a spare 3DS XL so my son
is keen to trade. I will show him this deal first. Thanks OP.
