    OMG Nando's 😱

    • +25

Seems like a perfect opportunity to combine it with either of these deals below:

My pick would be a whole chook + 1 large side 'To share meal' = $24.95
      $24.95 - $10 (Amex rebate) = $14.95 for a whole chook & 2 large sides (1 freebie from offer above)

Note - You’ll need to download the Nandos app, sign up for Peri-Perks and show the offer on your phone - The deal’s available for unlimited reuses till 30 November 2017

      Credit to Frugal Feeds

      • +1

Downloaded and signed in but no offer avaliable?

      • I joined Peri Perks membership few weeks ago but can't seem to find this deal when I logged innand checked my mobile app. Can anyone point out where to find this deal/barcode? Thanks

    • Be careful, limited locations.

      • -1

Yes doesn't include th Bankstown one 🙄🙄🙄

      • +2

        Possible workaround
Buy $20 gift card from participants to use at non listed one?

        • great idea.

        • Noice
          Your the man 😎

        • @easternculture: Has anyone successfully got the credit from a nandos store NOT on the list?

        • does anyone know how to check nando's gift card balance? I could only find this site https://www.nandosperiperi.com/eat/gift-card
but it doesn't appear to work for gift cards issued in australia.

        • @lousy: yeah couldn't find any online.

you might have to call them to check balance. I did that last year.

successfully purchased $120 worth of Nando's gift card from Kent st, Sydney store across 6 different cards. Emails received, waiting for the credits. #periperi

        • @spk: do you have the number to call by any chance? thanks

        • @dtrinh: which store?

        • @strawberrybug: it was not on PDF. Gave store a call and manager said yes they were part of Amex deal, so if not sure, do the same.

        • @dtrinh: OK I can but do you mind sharing so I don't bother calling your same store??! Not sure why secretive :)

        • @spk:

          Any updates on this?

  • +1

    Thanks ninja!

  • +1

Nando's, only at selected stores, not all stores.

    • +6

List of participating Nando's stores here

      • Not sure if that list is comprehensive. There are extra Nando’s locations that appear on the map that do not appear in their list (e.g. Nando’s Nedlands, WA)

        • If they are franchises, they might have opted out.

    • Tried using at a Nando's on the list today - still no email, will keep an eye out

      • Have you gotten the credit?

        • Got both - even after they removed it from shop small

          $28 meal cost me $8

  • +6

Nandos is also in the shop small campaign / opportunity to get total casback (up to $20?)

    • Not anymore.

  • -2

Is there a limit to how many of these offers you add? Why would you not just add them to your amex card on the off chance you get to any of these stores?

    • +12

no limit but being Australian would know fair dinkum (and pick up own sh1t in the park). use what is needed.
know there is no chance I will spend $500 or more in Alice McCall.

      • +1

I like to plan ahead and shit in the toilet before i go to the park.

  • +3

Amexconnect could be down at the moment, it keeps on prompting your card is not eligible for this offer even though I can see it being available in the account dashboard.

    • Can’t log in to the Amex app either.

    • try again, ok 4 me using app.

      • Yeah back to normal now.

  • -4

AMEX has been really good these few years!!

    Sydney property falling now!!!

  • "Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $150 or more, in one or more transactions, online only at shop.davidjones.com.au by 05/12/2017 to receive one $30 credit. Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply."

Does it mean it can be use for multiple transactions on separate date?

    • +1

You can have multiple transactions on separate dates adding up to $150 or more by 5/12/2017, but you will only receive one $30 credit.

      • Oh.. ok, thanks

      • Anyone tried buying David jones gift cards and get the credit?

    • You have to pay $10 for standard shipping if your order is less than $100 (unless paying with a DJs card).

      • Even if your order is over $100 and only consists of a GC, you still have to pay postage. But if your GC is >$100 and you add a $1 item (or equivalent), you get free shipping.

        • +1

Thanks for the idea. Now to pick my $1 item.

        • -2

This only works if you use DJ Amex

        • @ausvicee:sorry my mistake

  • +3

Just in time for the return of the audiovisual department at DJs this week!

    • Will they have iPhones? 20% off iPhone X?

      • Luxury TVs
        Premium Portable and Wireless Speakers
        Headphones and Accessories
        Wearable Devices
        Smart & Connected Home
Source: DJ job advert at https://www.pedestrian.tv/job/retail-sales-audio-visual-tech…

I was hoping for switch games. Maybe online but otherwise seems like that's not what they're targeting

        • DJs exited the games and other software market long before the demise of Dick Smith; don't think they're going to try again unfortunately.

We will have iPhones but not too sure about iPhone X.

And that job advert is exactly what the new audiovisual department will be selling. Plus Apple computers and tablets.

          @kerfuffle:

Now there's a reason to stock pile giftcards from David Jones. How was your visit down Melbourne.

        • @nightelves: It was good! I'll be back in Melbourne mid April and mid August 👍

        • +1

          @kerfuffle:

Those are the worst times to come to Melbourne 😣

        • +2

@nightelves: Hahaha I'm only going during those times because I took out a Melbourne Theatre Company mini subscription haha

    • Do you know when they will start in store? Or have they started? Bose headphones included?

      • Thursday the 9th and only in selected stores and Online and no idea if we stock Bose; sorry.

        • Thanks for your reply, will keep an eye. Do you know if I purchase online and C&C at for e.g DJ Bourke St (Melb) for cashrewards, and make another purchase instore at DJ Bourke St, does both invoices come with same ABN and eligible to claim TRS?

        • @lilkid28: I'm not qualified to answer that question; sorry.

    • They're also selling rangehoods and cooktops now.

  • "Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $1,699 or more, in one transaction, online only at shop.samsung.com/au by 31/12/2017 to receive a 20% credit back" best bargain!!

Waiting on JV to make a comment.

    • JV: 'how is this considered best bargain'

    • Considering its only what they have in stock and in their online store, not going to be many deals I think.

  • Is splitting bill allowed for the spec saver offer?

    • +10

Why don't you try it out and let us know? No one can tell you the answer to that because the shops aren't open yet in Australia …

    • +1

Depends on the store. I've been bill-splitting at places which say "no split bills" for shopsmall.
Just tell them you don't have enough money on a single card.
Edit: And offer to split the bill in half, rather than calculating what to pay for.

  • Thanks Ninja and Amex

  • Nandos ftw! Thanks mate!

  • Hm card not eligible for some offers?

Catch worked via dashboard. DJ and specsavers didn't work via link and aren't in my dashboard. Unlikely but maybe I remembered my card number incorrectly I can't check as I'm currently incapacitated by an ill sleeping baby :)

  • Great one for Samsung!

    • +2

Would like similar on somewhere selling a $2200 lg c7 oled!

  • The David Jones deal looks good. Wonder if you get points for the full $150 spend as well.

    • You do :-)

  • Culled my AmEx due to the change in points rules and annual fee. Forgot about Christmas time, gosh darned it!

    • +6

Culled your amex during shop small? Can't help some people.

    • +1

So get a free Amex, like the Velocity Escape

    • -1

      Velocity escape the best!

  • Thanks OP

  • Cancelled my amex a few weeks ago, now some of the best offers I've seen -.-

    • Get platinum Edge!

    • +3

You still have 60 days to reactivate it again.

  • +2

Nandos deal is great but their chickens have gotten smaller and smaller ;(

    • -2

      That's what she said.

    • +1

Maybe they stopped injecting them with steroids

I heard there is a shortage in steroids due to human abuse

      • regardless of validity, it is amusing lol

      • Essendon took them all eh?

    • Note: Nandos in ACT are not participating

    • +1

      Depends where you go.

Kent Street Sydney sucks, even what looks like new management, chicken are still small. Place looks a lot more hygienic though… ie less dead cockroaches around

Broadway Sydney chicken are decent sized and cooked and baste really well… more akin to Melbourne basting.

Most of Sydney Nandos's feel like they take short cuts especially on the basting of the chicken, compared to Melbourne

      • Nandos is not what it use to be

      • Should have noted, I havent been to Melbourne in years but use to go quite often.

  • +1

Pity specsavers is instore , would have been good if we could combine it with the regular specsaver online offers

  • +1

    Thank you OP!
I couldnt find the Trenery offers on both my amex-issued card accounts though!

  • -1

For DJ, could I buy GiftCard because its only for online purchase ?

    • +3

I think you can buy physical gift cards but not e gift Cards.

    • You buy the physical gift cards online

Already bought and received mine along with the $30 credit to accounts in already

  • Thanks mate

  • Wow! You know Christmas is coming with all these cashbacks.

  • +1

Do these credits work with a AMEX essentials card, 0 annual fee?

    https://www.americanexpress.com/au/content/essential-credit-…

Just looking to get in on these deals and my bank issued AMEX one got canned.

  • Nandos allocation exhausted.

    • 15000 registrations in 8 hours. That's the power of ozbargain!

  • Get Wines Direct have a $40 off of $100 spend promo on the go at the mo. So spend $115, pay $50 after AMEX cashback.
