This is a genuine updated version of the phone holder and it's really good quality. Make sure to choose the "Updated Edition". Green is the only colour in stock at this price unfortunately.

        The unit will expand to 3" and it just fits my Garmin 2455 which has a 4.5 inch screen so I doubt it would fit any Garmin with a 5" or larger screen. Not sure about other GPS brands.

      In your experience, will it bend the air vent over long term usage? I mean surely the weight of the phone will bend the plastic right ?

        I've used my Kenu Airframe phone holder for 5 years and have never bent or broken my vent fin. YMMV, but in my experience it works really well.

        I also make sure to position the holder close to the edge where it has more support, rather than the middle of the vent fin.

    it seems like the quality significantly dropped after the first batch was shipped. There are $1 options on eBay, but they are much worse quality and not worth it.

    So did the quality of these drop or not? And what does ebay knockoffs have to do with this model?

      The quality of this one didn't as it's genuine, but the vendor of the other deal started to ship fake models. I decided to remove the $1 part as it was incorrect info.

      It's just a difference in the clip as seen in the photos, seems like a much better design to clip onto the vent.

      You don't have to put a coupon in, if you went through the prompts and got to that stage it should auto apply at checkout before paying.

      If you have an android phone, go to application manager and "clear data". Then sign back in and redeem the coupon again. It should apply the discount at the checkout, this is what I did and it worked for me.

    Was gonna buy and had two in the cary but then starting reading the other thread of people receving it. I have the iphone x and dont think this vent clip will be suitable. Dont really feel like pagkng $2 for landfill no matter how cheap it is

    This is a solid product but keep in mind it's not one size fits all. The slots at the back of this mount is a T shape and might not fit some vents. Also be careful when putting it on the vent as it's very easy to break the vertical moving fins in the vent.

    For those with weird car vents where these holders won't fit, I have been using one where it just plugs into your cars cd player and acts as a phone holder. Works a treat.

    The one peeve about this product is how it ends up blocking the vent. I end up turning my phone upside down so it isn't covering as much.

    I had one of those magnetic phone holders where you clip it onto the vents. The rubber bits stripped off and the attachment metal was scratching the paint off the vents. Never again. This should definitely do it. Thanks.

    Lots of pretty pictures, but I can't see any actual measurements quoted to make sure the opening will fit my phone with cover on.
