There was a coupon in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph in Sydney to take to your local newsagent to get a free ball & also with the Herald Sun (Melbourne) on Tuesday - when you buy the newspaper you can take the coupon into your newsagent & pick between a golf, tennis & cricket balls.

Anything larger than a tennis ball? Something that you can actually pass or kick around?

Also I wonder whether they are sending out balls in the order of their size. We got people with golf balls, then cricket balls, and then tennis balls — we can only hope that we will eventually get to soccer, football and basketball.

Got another one today (sent to my PO box) and it is a tennis ball. Not flat so I am happy :)

I got a tennis ball… not a particularly impressive tennis ball (doesn’t bounce much). One of my work colleagues managed to get 3 golfballs and a tennis ball… the first golf ball he used apparently split in two, the second spiralled in the air. He’s convinced they’re not real golf balls. He then gave the tennis ball to his dog (which apparently usually last about 1-2 weeks) and this one fell in half as soon as the dog picked it up. To summarise, don’t expect too much from free balls! :)
