        You can use shopmate by Auspot, gives you an US delivery address, then AUSpost forwards to Australia for a fee.
        Works very well.
        When you purchase the item, you set the delivery address to the Auspost American warehouse, when it gets tot he warehouse, you get an email with the cost to send to Australia, once you pay that, they send it to your Australian address.

      The Oris Sixty Five 42mm and 40mm are currently a drop on Massdrop (login required) for US $1100 on strap or bracelet. Bracelet option is more, but that would be my pick. Postage extra.

      I have seen it cheaper, but usually on flash sale.

      I am seriously thinking about saving for the 65 40mm. Love the vintage style and easy to dress up or down.

    Just keep in mind guys, that some of these watches will attract a GST since they are over the importation threshold.

    If I recall, GST will be paid on anything over AUD $1000 + shipping. There could also be a processing fee.

    Maybe someone else can chime in and be more precise.

      Not just GST but also other duty charges.

      Also the equivalent AUD is calculated based on the exchange rate at the time of assessment (i.e. when goods arrive at Australian customs).

    Don't forget to check the watch head diameter guys. Some of the Aquis are the 36mm which is the female version, but sometimes the vendors like to bury this in the specs.

      Even the 40mm looks a bit small on the average male wrist, 36 would be tiny. I have an Aquis Date 43mm which was a better fit for me.

      The only other Oris watch I’d look at is the pro pilot but that is missing from the sale as well

          The problem with a small diameter diver is that they look so slab sided due to their thickness (200-300 WR). Just throws out the proportions in my opinion.

          Average wrist size is now bigger - or fatter.

    Loving the description of 59:

    "Additional Info: comes with a Hohner Marine band harmonica. withstands rain and splashes of water, but not showering or submersion. " It's not quite true though. One player I really respect used to claim you could soak your harp in a glass of coke to clean them up if they were getting a bit rattly..

      Too much. Jomashop RRPs tend to be accurate, and in my estimation 36% is an inadequate reduction.

    My Oris Regulator XL isnt keeping time (and thus is completely useless). Advised by Oris that I need to have delivered to their service centre in Melbourne and then a service is around $500 plus any parts required.

        Varies but can lose 10 mins a day. Paid a lot of money for a premium watch and it cant even keep time.

        Open to any suggestions re Perth based service centres

          Can you open the caseback? There might be a tiny screw beside a + and - or beside A and R. If so, turn the screw 1/20th of a revolution in the direction of - or R. Every 2 days, try another 1/20th revolution until you are satisfied.

          @imp: $500 is daylight robbery. Have a look in Yellow Pages. Avoid anyone who will send the watch to a third party.

          It sounds very much like your watch is magnetized if it's 10 min a day. You could buy a cheap demagnetizer to try first. Otherwise, I would look up an independent watchsmith. If you send it to the Oris service centre you may be without it for quite a while. Its probably running a standard or slightly modified Selitta SW200 which shouldn't be too hard to service.

    I've got number 10. I don't wear it often enough, but it's a great watch. I quite like 41 and 58, but I must stop.

      Look up Didun on Aliexpress. They are decent quality for the price and have Jap movements. Might scratch your itch.
