Hi. I ordered a 3 sim on 4th April and haven’t heard from you since, despite me sending a follow up email Is there an eta? Or should I cancel for a refund? Cheers

      • Hi there can I please have your order number so I can look into this, I haven't missed an email since [email protected]

        • Thanks. Just messaged you. Cheers

        • +1

I’ve just emailed for cancellation and refund. Please do so quickly.

The lack of updates concerned me, so I’ve had to order elsewhere to give me confidence that I will receive the SIM before I leave.

Best of luck in the future but on this occasion your customer service appears to have let down me and many others.

        • @smalldeadchris: Hi there

I fulfilled your order on the 4th of April which is well past the date of you receiving the SIM card, I will appreciate if you can provide me with an alternate address to send the SIMs to, I'm happy to send out a replacement using registered postage.

My apologies for the delay in geting back to you it was completely my fault and your email got buried onto the next page.

I just found the email and will be responding to this case now

  • What are the minimum recharge amounts?

What do I get for recharging $20?

    • Hi there

Are you talking about the carryover combo or recharging seperately after the bundle expires ?

      • recharging seperately after the bundle expires ?

If I run out of credit, how much do I have to recharge to get more data, calls, text?

        • If your recharging directly through the 2 degrees website, then you will need to spend a minimum of $20 to top up, $20 will be able to get you their $19 carryover combo (basically this current deal) for the same allowance.

If you just need data for NZ. It will be much cheaper to purchase multiple Sims instead of just 1 and having to recharge.

  • Great deal. Just two quick questions, what is departure date required for on the website, and would we need to provide ID verification docs etc for the SIM setup?

    • Hi

Departure date is just required for marketing purposes and to gauge our customers behaviour. No Id verification needed :)

      • sounds SO EASY :P

        bought!

        • Hahaha love it :) !

@So Easy Travel:thank you so much really appreciate it :) you won't be disappointed with the SIM.

You mean so you can delay sending out Sim cards to customers who are leaving later if you don't have enough stock

Skinny mobile does a similar deal for $16.
I grabbed the $46 Skinny SIM with 10gb of data.

I have not got mine from previous deal

Hi kelad. I have currently followed up with the few customers who have still not received it last week, they are coming I promise, just give it till next week Tuesday.

      • Got it. Many thanks for following up

  • +3

I Waited 2 weeks last time and it never arrived. Emailed the company and they said that it won’t come until after I leave for nz. Ended up getting refund.
I reckon If u r leaving soon, double check with the company first in terms of timeframe.

  • Taken the risk to buy one in the expectation it ships and gets to me in time by Friday. Which city are they shipped from, OP?

    • -1

      Hi there

I understand that some customers do not receive the SIM card guys. Were an e-commerce business at the end of the day and sometimes customers don't receive their Sims for multiple reasons. We have had Australia Post lose items multiple times and we still take the heat from issues beyond our control. All orders are shipped from sydney, Australia and will arrive within the 1-5 business day timeframe.

      • +2

Priority tracked shipping was what I was promised,
        Where is my tracking number?
If you don’t have stock it’s your fault not the postal service
If you promise tracked shipping but use a cheaper option, is that the postal service fault when it can’t be found?
Still waiting from 4th April no sims no refund.

Purchased a Europe sim card from previous deal. Extremely hard to contact and had to chase up an email through facebook messenger. Sent out a second email after not receiving for 3 weeks - no reply from seller. Turns out Australia Post seems to have lost the package only after I followed it up. Lodged a refund with paypal.

    Customer service is very poor.

Are you sure you ordered from soeasy.travel instead than sohard.travel?

      • -3

        Nice joke :)

    • -3

      Hi there

Our previous Europe SIM post did really well. Our emails get so flooded that we can't even keep up with a team of three. We can admit it gets difficult especially when demand increases significantly so we sometimes lose track of emails but we are working on refining our processes everyday

Ordered a on the 2nd of April.
Product page stated 1-4 business days. According to the order status page, it still has not been shipped.

      Hi there.

  • Barnaby!

Just grab a skinny sim when you get to NZ. They are sold in most supermarkets here for $4 and do not require ID to activate.

    • $4 + $16 for topup
    • Same amount of data
    • Better network coverage (spark)

Same experience here with not receiving my order from previous deal. Only one email stating it would arrive last week which it didn't. Very bad experience so far.

  • +3

Hi, I still haven't received my SIMs from the last deal. Purchased on 3 April and am leaving this Wednesday 25 April. Order number is 3615.

Customer service is very slow and unresponsive.

      Hi borbor

We have provided a tracking number for your order and it says on the Australia Post website that it is coming today, have you not received the tracking number at all I am genuinely confused?

  • i have given the company the benefit of doubt and ordered 2 more sim cards (ORDER #4236) even though i had a lot of problems with my last order… let's hope the 2 sim cards actually arrive this time otherwise i'll be very disappointed.

      Hi there.

Were sending your item registered postage to your PO Box so it's honestly impossible for you not to receive your SIM card.

      • +2

I would say there is a chance, for my order:

        “Shipping method
National Priority Shipping (Tracking Reference Provided) - 1-4 business days - Limited Time Only”

Still waiting on tracking reference from April 4th

      • +1

When are you sending my SIM cards? The original post said it would be sent on Monday afternoon. Why haven't I received a tracking number yet?

        • -1

Hi haven't you received the tracking number yet ????

It was sent to your email yesterday at 11:30 am here is your tracking number as proof: 60430741968093

Please let me know as soon as you receive the SIM cards

        • -2

Also J you used a discount code that was not meant to be applied to this order considering it is already discounted. I have decided to look past this because of the previously delay for receiving your Sims before.

        • +1

          @So Easy Travel:
If discount codes are not meant to be applied to an order - fix up your website so that it cannot take the codes.

        • @So Easy Travel: thanks, confirming they have arrived

  • An update from me.

I received my SIM card today, Friday via Express Post.

I'm unsure how I feel, because the claim above was that it would be shipped on Monday. That was a blatant lie as I can guarantee it was not, it was in fact shipped on Thursday (yesterday). I received the e-mail claiming it was shipped on ANZAC Day (lol).

However it was sent by Express Post, and by virtue I live within the Next-Day network of AusPost, I received it today.

I ordered very soon after the deal went live on Saturday evening and was definitely in the first batch of orders that the seller would claim to be shipped Monday.

I'm not doing this to whinge or get a response from the OP but simply to highlight to people the unreliable nature of the commitment to dispatch times. If you can or are willing to wait - go ahead and order, you should be fine. Mine was sent to me via Express Post after all. However, if you need it by a certain date, this is best avoided.

    • Hi there and thank you for your response. I must personally take blame for this as I simply did not send out shipment notifications on Tuesday morning.

we did end up prioritising customers who were departing earlier. We knew that customers who were departing within that week would not receive it within the specified time of our free shipping option so even if we shipped your order on Monday you would not have even received it before your trip.

I in fact was the one that authorised the complimentary express postage for your order just so you can make it in time. I feel like I did my absolute best to make sure you were happy and to receive the SIM in time which I am happy you confirmed.

I still appreciate the feedback, but I would like you and everyone in the ozb community to know that we do try and do the best for our customers.

      • Amanda.

Ordered Saturday, received yesterday morning. Seems my SIM was sent by standard mail, not sure what this "National Priority Shipping" is as what I received just had a standard postage stamp and no tracking number etc.

Overall at least I have received my SIM but I'm lucky my trip is still a while away so wasn't worried about delays.

  • I’m still waiting for my order from the last sale you had in March ORDER #3363 it has been over a month and my last email from you which promised a 24 to 48 hr response. Well that was over a week ago. I’m still waiting for a response. Please respond to my email I have sent you tonight.
My last order last year took a long time and arrived just in time prior to travel, after escalating the issue.
So I’m not sure I would bother again in the future without a really long time prior to travelling.. It is just too hard and considering all the negative issues reported on OzBargain, there is ample warning to all those about to travel.
