As long as we own and register correctly a Toyota vehicle on the app, can this offer be used in conjunction to fuel a different branded vehicle?

    • +12

Offer is limited to one transaction per vehicle in myToyota account per day.
As to what vehicle you fill up physically at Caltex, that's up to you.

      • Thanks for the clarification!

Enjoy exclusive fuel discounts at Caltex with NRMA Members saving 5 cents per litre on Vortex Premium fuels and 3 cents per litre on regular fuels

I think you can even just show your NRMA card

    • +3

According to NRMA website, you have to use their App to generate a QR code to redeem the offer.

You also have to remember NRMA Changes $ for a membership.
where the Toyota APP is for free for Toyota Owners.

      • Yep, just checked the Open Road magazine and the fuel offer is only available via the NRMA app

      • Yes it's free but you have to jump through hoops to get a paltry 4c per litre. I can get that from cheaper outlets by simply doing my shopping

    • Can these be stacked?

    • App is required as employees need to scan a qr code on a commbank albert device. They then scan the albert device to the point of sale system.

    • +1
      • Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offers or fuel discounts unless specifically stated.

    • Unfortunately,no.It is really useless to some people.

  • I have lexus NX. Can I add it?

    • +2

Of course, everyone know Lexuss are just Toyota’s..

If u can afford a Lexus u can afford to pay full price :p

      • He is a tight ass. That's why he can afford that.

        • :-(

  • +4

A 4c/L discount on ULP prices that are currently hovering around $1.50 is about 2.7% off. Not a huge saving when you think of it in % terms.

    • Go straight to a Woolies station with 5% off eGC is probably cheaper, not to say with a 4c/l off voucher.

  • +8

Oh oh oh what a fueling Toyota

  • More of a FYI…NRMA also launched an app that gives you 3c non premium or 5c premium fuel discount at participating Caltex, pretty much most if not all non Woolworths Caltex.

  • Mine said 0 codes remaining today😂

    • You’ll have to link your toyota vehicle before any codes will show up. Once you have done that, The App will give you one code per vehicle per day.

      • +1

How will u stop people Goin to the wreckers for the vehicle info?

        • You need the batch number or rego certificate to verify the vehicle in the app.

      • +1

It's a already been linked tho.

    • -1

Why would they. It's Toyota only m8

      • Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese car maker Toyota.

        • Why are lexus owners even worrying about saving money on fuel?

          Cheapskates lol

        • +1

@smuggler: you will be surprised how many multimillionaire are members here.

  • AND LEXUS?

  • Thank you, registered and tested with the App, it will popup a QR code, now I don't need to go further away to another woolies station just to save 4c with my damn everyday reward card, a caltex station is just 3 mins drive from my home!

    • Have to remember the offer is only available at participating Caltex service station.
      https://www.toyota.com.au/mytoyota/~/media/Toyota/MyToyota/P…

      • Yes, I have checked the list and my local one is on it, but this week petrol price still damn painful, so won't use any code yet …

      • the list is not correct as i went to one of then aka footscray Gordon street and was advised that they haven't had it set up yet so please update the list to save people time feom going to stores who have not had it set up, thanks

      • Can you please chat with Caltex to confirm the deal is active and that all stores on the list are participating?

  • +1

Anything for Ferrari owners? Wouldn't believe how much petrol these things use.

    • +1

Lucky you that at least trolling is free!

      • Most of the people on OzBargain are Doctors or Lawyer going off the comments so I wouldn't be surprised ( as long as they got a good deal of said Ferrari)

      $163 per litre?

      Don't give them any ideas.

  • +1

Wow fuel is dear in SA 😎

  • Can I pay using my fleet card ?

  • Any NRMA member can use their NRMA card or app to get a 5cpl discount on premium unleaded or 3cpl on other fuel at Caltex. Trouble is I have found Caltex, Shell and Woolworths always at least 5cpl more expensive than others.

  • +1

Man these petrol companies are becoming more like the power companies masking their extortionate prices behind paltry discounts. 4c off per litre but we will charge you $1.599 for the same petrol we used to charge you $1.129 last year.

  • +1

hi guys, registered successfully however when we tried using it today at caltex, footscray Gordan street, the daily code didn't work. Shop assistance advised that they have not been advised by head office so its not set up even though they were in this list of participating stores. Dissapointed at the end, there was nothing we were able to do, as shop assitant had no workaround to fix the issue and told us to call toyota. We might give it another go next week when the systems have been set up.

    • Same here, would like to know whats going on. Why giving us the code when the system isn't ready :(

  • Thanks worked today in WA paid $1.329 goes up to $1.64 tomorrow ULP

  • I just went to one of the participating station to fill up my car but doesn't work.
The staff doesn't know about the promotion, but he tried to scan the code anyway and it shows invalid data on the screen.

    Anyone know whats wrong???

  • Just pay before you fill in case it doesn't work you can drive away.
