    nom nom nom.

This isn't displayed on the site (that I can see from a cursory glance) - does it count for full priced things only, or sale stock too?

  •

Works on the 32" Sanyo! Wish I hadnt bought it before this voucher came out. :( $44.80 off

    •

      you bought a sanyo?

Don't knock it, it ain't no Sony/Samsung, but its a reliable japanese brand, better than TEAC/KOGAN and the likes!

Yea. It's not for me. It was for my grandma. It's LED and Slim. Better than the old CRT she has now!

I don't think BigW workers get paid that badly to need mountains of Chum :-)

    .

  •

Be careful it doesn't drop your discount when you pay with paypal. Just charged me $55 more once I got back to the confirmation page. I have contacted them and assume they will credit the difference?

  •

Great deal. When do Big W update their web specials? I'm keen on a cheap PS3. =D

This offer excludes gift cards, iPods and gaming consoles bought on bigw.com.au.

      •

Bummer…I hate fine print….oh well, what 32" LCD do we reckon is the best value (and still decent quality)

        P.s. Thanks for that.

        •

I've been looking at Sanyo's at Dick Smith and they are of generally excellent quality. I'd say at least equivalent to a lower-end Sony, probably better.

  •

I already bought my items during the last clearance. $89…
Would have loved to get something priced at $10 for free.

  • +2 votes

Yeah I'm thinking of getting an inflatable boat with oars in my order $19.84.

I'd essentially be paying $2-3 for the boat…. in QLD so you never know when it'd come in handy.

    •

With all this dramatic flooding happening in two states i am seriously thinking of buying a house boat if it hits NSW next. lol.

  •

    No iPad online?

    •

      excludes Apple products. So NO.

      •

If you're talking about the 10% discount, it actually excludes iPods not "Apple products".

….but I don't think the voucher precludes something from appearing on the web store……

  •

Thinking I might apply this deal on a discounted 32" TV that they are currently selling.

  • +3 votes

just got myself a SANYO 32" LED TV (LED32XR10F) YEY!!!

    Item Subtotal
    $448.00
    Delivery
    $15.00
    10% off $100 or more
    -$44.80
    TOTAL
    $418.20

    •

      Good buy, congrats!
I might even get the 40" Sanyo. I heard some great reviews about it and it plays every format under the sun via USB. Sanyo is a quality brand and reasonable price. The only worrying spec of the TV you bought is the 8ms response time - I had another LCD with same spec and it displayed of video lag in my xbox games.

      •

The response time is pixel response time. How long it takes to change shade (usually grey to grey). Flat panel TVs introduce other kinds of lag during video processing. It hardly matters when viewing a TV signal if the picture is 100ms late, but as you say, it's critical for games.

    •

      Bummer, I missed out :(

  •

    dOH.. Doesnt work for xbox

    •

      lol, nice try though.

Most of their prices are inflated anyway so this is a good encouragement to move stock.
e.g. the Sanyo 40" TV mentioned above has a way inflated RRP, at about $550 with all discounts applied and incl postage it is about on par with the price level or a bit cheaper than other retailers have been selling this same product for a long time, such as DSE.

  •

    Thanks!
I ordered for a road bike, it's already on discount but isn't in the deals page. It has Shimano 2300, with shifters on the brakes levers unlike other cheap road bikes. Only got charged $7 for delivery, pretty good for a big item.

  •

I just bought for my bedroom…

    1 x AWA 32" (81cm) LCD TV

    Grand Total $328.20

  • +1 vote

I brought my daughter lots of new furniture for her bedroom. Their prices are cheaper than anything else I was able to find online, then with 10% off saved me nearly $200 more and delivery was only $7!! That is for 2 chests of drawers, 2 bookcases and a change table top.

Hopefully I wont get an email Monday saying they made a mistake…..

    • +1 vote

Excellent. Thanks for sharing your purchase. I actually never thought about buying furniture from there before.
Rest easy, they will certainly honor this promo and are reputable company so shouldn't have any 'surprises'. You're right, their postage costs are very reasonable when you consider the volume and mass.
