  • Can ps4 pro play on ultra wide? I know this says 4k, but the resolution is a little less. Hoping for more info before I pull the trigger.

PS4 Pro doesn't support 1440p, and you'll get massive black borders on the sides. Not recommended at all.

      • Thanks. It supports 4k though right? Any recommendations on what I should look for with a budget of around 1k?

          A TV?

        • A last gen 55 inch sony or samsung HDR 4k TV

  • +1

No you will have black bars on both sides

  • Good price, but too hard to drive for gaming and compatibility FOV issues

    • you are wrong, ive had one for 18 months, ive had no problems with either of those issues, i have gtx1070.

    • Not that hard to drive if you have a decent gfx card. 1080 will do a decent job on all but the MOST demanding games - witcher 3 for example is fine with almost all settings on highest.

Definitely some FOV issues with older games. I haven't played any modern games, like within the last 3 years that have a problem though.

I really love this monitor. The colours and movement are just beautiful. And really awesome for multitasking on the desktop as well.

  • this or the AOC AG352UCG…. both in my cart… decisions decisions…

    • VA panel, right?

    • the AOC both the G and the G6 both use VA panels. It's cheaper, the blacks are deeper as well but you won't have the vibrant IPS panel that this has. I like VA panels, coming from a 34" samsung ultawide but I just pulled the trigger on a x34p because the 120hz and IPS. The is a night and day.

Highly doubt it. Given that the image is from computer alliance

      • I just bought one !

Look at the sellers other items and prices. Also photos all from estores listings.
It's a common scam. They buy an aged account with a bit of feedback, or have one, collect the money and disappear.
Wouldn't go near it, it'll take eBay some time to return money for fraud such as this.

          @swimmingtoad:

Yeah, you’re right. I just looked into the selling and they have other products at rediculous prices.

Feedback also appears to be on womens clothing from 2014.

Hopefully I can get a refund soon, as I paid with Paypal.

Sellers Ebay username checks out : anndisaster

        • @imaxsameer:
ya me too. I cancelled from PayPal for payment.

      • Ya and the price is also unbelievable. but 100% positive feedback on the seller. I've a question if the product does not come in estimated date or if something happens then eBay will refund our money, won't they??

        • +1

Not for not coming as per the estimated date. They will eventually pay but not as promptly as that. It would take 3 or 4 weeks from experience.

    • 42 sold in 24 hours and 107 viewed per hour, gl to eBay returning all that

Made an account just to warn people.

This ebay account looks like it used to belong to an old friend of mine. Her name and the type of items previously sold seems to check out. Possibly this account has been stolen. I'm not in contact with her anymore to let her know.

      Strongly advised to avoid.

  • Once you go to 100Hz you can never go back to 60Hz, as least in gaming.

    Just sayin'.

    • Once you go to 144Hz you can never go back to 100Hz, at least in gaming!

      Just saying.

Pfft, not true, diminishing returns along with higher GPU requirements make that statement false. Also going from 60hz to 100hz is an improve of 67% more frames per second while going from 100 to 144 is… erm, not sure.

  • Damn I purchased this for $1550 on release

  • So cheap, great price!
