        as i'm sure many other OzB'ers will think this is a dupe(as many do not check, they just think its a dupe—>as coupon codes as different)

    It says "As a special offer for American Express Card members….".
    Perhaps you don't need to pay by Amex, but I guess the intention is that you should have an Amex card to qualify.

      That is true to a degree. Although I just checked one book I wish to purchase and the UK site was cheaper with discount applied.

      So you never know.

        Yeah, it is worth checking. Granted, the majority seem to be cheaper on the US. But there are still quite a few, just on the books i've looked up, which are as cheap or cheaper via the UK - occasionally even without the 10% subtracted.

    I prefer buying books from the UK, at least they speak the same language over there. I hate getting books with American English. All those Z's.

    First time BD customer - $101, would have been $133 from Amazon UK - so pleased.

    Then I discovered, rechecking the Amazon price for this post, I could have got it for $95 from Amazon US - never mind :)

    I will redouble my Ozbargain-hunting efforts this week to make up for the lost $6!!! :)
