Yeah they advertise as free shipping but that's rubbish as the surcharge is effectively a shipping charge for the vast majority of orders, and they only tell you about it at the very end after you've spent time trying to sort out what you want.
I found their website quite deceptive because of this.
While I didn't end up buying from them a family member did, and she had all kinds of problems getting a manufacturing fault corrected. She felt they were all very polite and helpful on chat pre-purchase, but didn't want to know her once a problem became evident. This family member is one of the most chilled people I know, and she was furious.

Majority orders are well over 3 items where you are not charged for the $65 fee. Again we offer DIY and installing.
Definitely not misleading as we have terms and conditions on our website.
When you are in the cart it clearly states the charge.

Would love to know who your friend is as if there is anything we fix problems.
Sometimes courier or factory errors can be made and everyone is human , no company is perfect but we definitely keep onto the issue and fix it and do not leave it.

What you do is absolutely misleading. You prominently advertise free shipping on the very front page yet bury the $65 so-called "surcharge", which is really a delivery charge for the vast majority of orders.
Calling it a "surcharge" won't save you. What you're doing is almost certainly illegal. If you are genuine about keeping "onto the issue and fix it" then state the so-called "surcharge" as prominently as the "free shipping" claim.
And I have read some of the chats she had and kept with your company and I don't really think you want me to publish them.
It clearly says t&C link on it.
It's a surcharge because of qty and Install.
If qty under 3 installer charge minimum fee of $65.
It also complies to ACCC. Please call them if you do not believe us.
There is no other way we can add it. In the cart is the best option as that is where you see total costs and qty is calculated.

Still charges $65 surcharge and then tries to flog another $20 for shipping insurance in checkout

As mentioned, It is for qty under 3 items and for installation purposes. Not just installation purpose.
If you compare prices on same product or fabric vs Fabric which has to be the same, we will be cheaper. Also we have make an offer option if you have found a cheaper price for the same fabric. In the end it is what the final price is, not what we charge for shipping etc. Another company could have free Shipping but be double our price like the traditional retailers with sales reps.
Insurance is their for peace of mind you do not have to choose this.
We also state T&C's from the free shipping tag to on the website.

Avoid blind city. Horrible company to deal with, classic "surcharge" just be open with prices and get customer service. Invest in post sales care if your products are that crap.
