Nutella Hazelnut Spread 750g $5 (Save $3.75) @ Woolworths

970

My go-to Nutella recipe is:

Preheat oven to 180°
Cut a puff pastry sheet into 8 triangles
Place dollop of Nutella on each triangle
Roll up the triangle to form a croissant shape
Optional: brush the top of the croissant with egg wash
Bake for 15min or until golden

Enjoy :)

Also it looks like there's some new special edition wrapping so you can try to collect all 5 designs if you feel so inclined

Yeah, better for your health to have peanut butter.

      • Unless you have a peanut allergy. Just saying.

I can stay away from 99% of Chocolates, sweets and Ice-Cream except Nutella!

Google Nutella cheesecake and thank me later.

    • Google "Nutella diabetes". There's no need to thank me, but please do Google it.

Should include a link to insulin or cheap diabetes treatments also otherwise this isnt a bargain in the long run….

    • +1

LOL, funny how you're being voted down for stating the truth. :)

      • Haha I know right. Some people can't see which will be short term bargains and which will be long term bargains in life =P

  • your recipe gets in the way of eating the nutella

  • +2

Not a bargain but there is an australian made substitute called 'Nuttvia' which is made with stevia. 1.7% sugar and no palm oil. Still 31% fat (sunflower, coconut) and same level of carbs as Nutella. Tastes just the same. May or may not be healthier.

    • If it's getting rid of the palm oil, it's got to be healthier (but only in comparison).

      • Why health concerns about palm oil in particular?

        • Quick google-fu

Palm oil might be free of trans fats, but it's high in saturated fats, which pose a significant risk to cardiovascular health

    • Does it taste exactly like Nutella or somewhat the same like other brand hazelnut spreads?
