G'day Rewards 2yr Membership FREE (Normally $40)

4230
SUNSUPER

My brother came across this the other day whilst looking at camping spots and found a code to get free membership for 2yrs. This membership gives you 10% off (max discount of $40) at over 250 camping sites across Australia + other perks/deals with their partners, i.e. Kmart Tyre and Auto service, Goodlife Health Clubs, Mitsubishi Motors and more..

Here are the details from the website:
G’DAY Rewards gives you access to Australia’s biggest network of parks with over 250 properties at your fingertips!
Choose your setting from outback, beach, mountains, city, to wine regions, and more. As a member, you will have access to any Discovery Parks or Top Parks in the most sensational locations across the country.
Check out some of our great locations across Australia– simply click on the links below to get started.
Don’t forget to enter your G’DAY Rewards Membership number when you book to receive 10%
off!*

Just add the promo code SUNSUPER at the bottom of the sign up page and you're done. You'll get a temporary card emailed to you while you wait for your physical card in the mail.

I'm not sure how long the code will last but knowing the ozbargain community, it could get 'ozbargained' fast so get in quick!

Happy camping/glamping!

You're welcome! (spoken in the voice of The Rock from Moana)…

  • +4

Don’t know if I’ll ever use it but cheers OP!

    • +1

Kinda in the same boat tbh.. but hey! I won't turn down free membership or deny the ozbargain world of a freebie :)

      • +1

it looks good on your résumé

  • +6

Yet another SunSuper abuse deal. The last one didn't end well with all sign ups revoked.

    • That one might be a little different to the way it was used/abused.. I have a sunsuper account (along with several other super accounts that I have yet to consolidate) so hopefully all good. For those that don't.. Not sure.

    • +5

Just make sure you enter the link www.gdayrewards.com.au in the browser manually yourself and do not click on Go to Deal, so they can never track where your click came from.

      • Good point! I might add that in the description to help others..

      • +82

Be careful you don’t miss any letters while typing into your browser.
You might get more than you Ozbargained for…

Calling it now: comment of the year nominee.

        • +22

gayrewards.com is giving me an error when signing up. Says my email is already registered. Wtf?

  • +1

What are the perks? Can't find that on the site.

    EDIT: oh never mind …

  • +6

No kids, no wife, haven't been camping for 3 years… yeah take all my details that's fine. Give me that free card!

  • +4

not sure about these prices but usually it is cheap and fun to stay in national parks.

    • +2

Totally agree, much more natural there. But after a few days it's nice to have some extra facilities, like (hot) shower, fridge…

    • +2

Free camp spots from Camps 9 book too, they can be quite awesome!

  • Thanks. Joined up. No idea if will ever use it though

  • +2

Did anyone get their welcome email?

    • +1

I havent either, signed up about an hour ago. Wonder if they process it manually?

    • +2

When I signed up a few days ago I don't think I received the welcome email until about an hour after…

  • +12

Anyone else get multiple welcome emails with different member numbers? 4 here.

    • Yes I got 7 and counting!!

    • all with different membership numbers too!

    • Got 9 ……

    • Yep, few so far

    • I have 10 haha

    • I have 15 now…

      • I'm on 16 … hope I don't get 16 cards in the mail …

    • I didn't even get one!

    • My theory is that they have been ozbargained, and therefore overloaded, then each time their servers reboot, they're processing us again :)

      • That's a terribly designed system - also means all information is stored in plain text.

        • Someone is going to have a great Monday

    • 18…

    • +2

I'm up to 12. Kinda regretting this now…

    • Up to 23 now 😝

  • Which parks n camping places no list found any where

    • No actual list but there are ways to find parks in areas you wish to camp or stay at:
      Option 1
      Option 2

  • Just joined without knowing what I’m signing up for haha

  • are these for holiday parks? I've always been confused about holiday parks and caravans park. So with caravans park you need to bring your own caravans and the price is only for a spot to park your caravan in the park right?

    • Both - Some parks have cabins/rooms whilst also offering caravan/tent sites for those that wish to camp.

    • +2

Its a pretty interchangeable term. Holiday parks are private. Caravan parks are often council owned (not always).

  • Does anyone else say "RENEW"?????
Does this mean already a member?

    • Family member has it and expires March 2019
      Not sure if should renew?

    • Yep. I was already a member and it renewed for me.

  • +4

Didn't receive any confirmation email, Signed up an hour back. Nothing in Spam/Junk as well.

    • me either

  • Thanks so much

  • Is this legit?
They want a lot of details: name, address, D.o.B, email, phone number - that's enough to steal my identity / get my phone number ported to another phone, etc.

  • +8

Just a reminder. Their requested personal particulars "Date of Birth" is not mandatory. I had succesfully submitted my application without giving away this info.

  • +4

    Didn't get a confirmation email.

  • -3

This doesn't seem a "bargain" at all? I don't see why we'd limit our choices to only certain campgrounds for a measly 10%! (Off their probably jacked up prices too, plus our data harvested ..)

    • +1

yeah do people even know what they're signing up to? usually you can negotiate a price or get the NRMA 10% anyway

  • Thanks

  • +1

    No confirmation email yet

  • +5

Has anyone else received like 15 confirmation emails throughout the day from this? :|

    • Yes… :(

    • Yes, same here :( don't know how to stop

    • +1

8 confirmation emails so far, each with a different membership number, yikes.

    • And with different numbers. So it is a bargain. I got 15 emails = 15 memberships = 40*15 = $600 or 30 years membership

    • Yep. Up to 10 now

  • +2

Yikes, have received 6 welcome emails so far! Regretting the spontaneous sign up already!!

    • +1

Have not received anything since signing up around lunchtime today :(

    • +1

and each with different Rewards Card Number too

    • 27 at the latest refresh and counting!

  • 20 confirmation emails

    • Each with different Rewards Card Number too

  • Seems like we overloaded the emailing system.

  • thanks for sharing

  • +5

Based on the spamming of welcome emails with different membership numbers, I have little faith this company can securely store my personal details.

    • Lucky I didn't get on board with this one then.

  • Lol, now that I have my 8 confirmation emails I can't access any of the deals. Wanted to get my pink slip at Kmart Auto this week.

  • +1

I'm pretty sure I've received over 20 of these emails. I regret joining :(

  • +2

Up to 53 now… I regret this deal.

  • +4

I get the following error when trying to sign up with SUNSUPER: "This code is invalid or has already been used. Please check that it has been typed correctly"

    • Same so far

    • Yep thinks it's over…..

  • +3

Looks like it has been 'Ozbargained'… Hopefully those that signed up, there are no further complications..

  • No confirmation email here.
I'm getting my car serviced today at KTAS and really wanted that 5% discount.

  • +5

You'll get a temporary card emailed to you while you wait for your physical card in the mail.

I have been getting marketing emails as if I'm a member but haven't received either temporary or physical card.

    • +1

Same here - disappointing now seeing the TGG post

    • I received an email with my id number.

  • +1

No confirmation card for me either, but I got the spam emails!!

  • My card came in the mail late last week. No spam emails my way.. Not sure what happened to those that are getting the spam.. :(

  • Damn just got email says offer comprised won’t get membership

    • Same here :(

  • +1

I have contacted G'day membership support and received the following email and a membership number after.

    Hi Prasanth,

Our system shows that you applied for the G’DAY Rewards membership on 14/10 using a promo code which was incorrectly shared outside of its intended users.
We can offer you a 12 month digital membership which will be forwarded shortly, however, no membership card will be issued.

The G’DAY Rewards digital membership will show a virtual card and membership number which you can use for bookings and show as proof of membership at any Discovery Park or Top Park around Australia.

    Kind Regards,

    Karen Smith
    G’DAY Rewards Coordinator
