  • Making items free while charging for postage reduces the saving so not technically not quiet free!

Why don't we see qc3 wall charger deal anymore?

    • limited market for AU wall chargers so few companies do them …. i think blitzwold does …. US and EU lots around but need to use adapter and often pulls away from power point …

    • considering it costs $1 to send a standard letter within Australia, these might as well be.

    Do your own research.

    Not cool bro, not cool.

  • These USB-C cables gonna kill my devices?

    • The ones that I have tried simply don't work at all. Nothing happens when I plug in.

Even the adaptors they sell as "freebies" don't fit lol.

    • no, the limit will be your charger, and lightning via USB-A charger port will limit at 2.1 or 2.4 amps …apple don't use QC so will be 5V.

You’ll get these in 2 months time… or maybe not at all.

  • Has someone used this from Zapals or elsehwere?

    https://www.zapals.com/3-in-1-nylon-braided-3a-usb-to-micro-…

Does it work with iPhone 7? How is the charging speed?

    TIA

  • Can you use the above codes multiple times on your account ?
Or you can just buy once ??

EDIT: OK, just updating: You can purchase more than one type of item.

    • can use multiple times, but pay postage each time …..their money is in the postage considering how cheap it is to send things from china slow ….for the delivery speed complainers, they have faster postage option if you pay extra ….

I don't get why people still upvote Zapals deals.

The shipping is questionable, the delivery is uncertain and even if it does come the quality is laughable.

Use to get quite a few Zapals things but then stopped when I realised that they weren't coming or when they did they wouldn't work anyway.

I buy from Zapals all the time, usually every week or two. I've only not received one item. The quality of the some of the cheap items is garbage, but some are quite good. It helps to read/watch reviews before you buy, so you can have an idea of the quality.

  • +3

Bought before. I would be too scared using such poor quality screwdrivers, there is a good chance you would strip the head of a screw

    • +6

wouldn't that be a problem the quality of the screw rather than the screwdriver?

      • I sometimes get these kits as it's a cheap way to some pry tools, etc as I also use them for taking Xboxes and laptops apart ….never had an issue, screw drivers are OK but small handle means they are targeted at one off repairs due to lack of comfort …often people buy one of these kits and a screen for their phone and fix their own screens, so OK for one off but if you are doing lots you might want ones with bigger handles.

      • The head of the screwdriver isn't machined well, it will be more likely to slip rather than forming a tight fit

Have this exact disassembly kit. If you're a guitar player, it's a no-brainer.

I've bought a few of these sub-$1 phone tool sets and they are total and absolute rubbish

    Avoid

    • Oh. I bought one a couple of weeks ago to fix my phone. (Phone is NOT fine.) So what DO you recommend instead?

  • I think I have been reading too much news.

Am i the only one who read this as "8 in 1 Dismembering Tool Set"…

Not Zapals and their junk again? AliExpress is cheaper and besides their stuff is always either slow to arrive or never arrives.

    • +5

Got a link to the cheaper price?

      • +1

        (no)

  • +2

    These things are garbage.
    I had a set myself.
The screw drivers aren't very accurate in size/shape.

  • Apart from the fact that these come free with most phone screen replacements, Zapals' customer service leaves much to be desired and there's a chance that your order will never be sent.

tried to order "Cree LED flashlight" from this site twice with separate deals. first one did arrive after few weeks but the 2nd order didn't arrive even after 3 months of waiting time. not sure if other members have also missed orders from this store if you are paying only basic postage charges. beware.

I ordered two different models and have received both of them. But the battery I ordered for them from eBay never arrived. I got a refund and hopefully will receive the batteries I purchased from another eBay seller soon. I've made 25 purchases from Zapals so far this year. I've received 18 items and have only not received one. The other items are more recent purchases that should be arriving in the next few weeks.
