For one day only (Saturday 26th April), Harvey Norman are selling their Xbox 360 games for 40% off, limit of 3 per person.

The store up here had really poor selection, and discounted games were still selling at their original price (eg, RRP of Virtua Fighter 5 is now about $50 or $60, but it still had a $99.95 sticker on it).

I rang one store and they said they dont do 40% of the GH3 bundle. But the second HN store said they wud take the 40% off. I hope when i go there l8r they don’t backstab me.

Yeah it was $170 (they were selling it at the bloody RRP). But got it for $102, bargain considering cheapest elsewhere is $150 (or $140 once in a while).

I got my GH3 from Big W for $128 about a month ago. Should have gotten it when it was on that $98 Super Saturday AGES AGO and posted here on Oz Bargain http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/1822 but all sold out :-(

GH3 was available in EVERY other format EXCEPT Xbox 360- they sold the few copies for 40% off.

I got Scene it (originally $119.95) for $71.97 (I had to remind them that it was an xbox 360 game), Call of Duty 4 ($109.95 sticker) for $65.97- also came up as a BELOW COST item :-), and Assassin’s Creed for $65.97.

I also got two 50 pack of the $10 DVD-R they had. These are awesome! Verbatim 16X PRINTABLE. http://www.verbatim.com.au/products.cfm?productID=95137 Originally marked $32.95. FOR $10!!!!!

All up it would have cost me almost TWICE the PRICE accoding to HN’s “retail price”, realistically, I saved about $100.

Of note, An interesting Xbox 360 game there was Bully Scholarship edition. It was $79.95 retail and now only $47.97. No one can beat that price!

Still have till 6pm to visit a HN.

got 4 of the $5 1GB sticks.

Should have picked up the 320GB HDD for $97 but all gone.

Actually, in terms of percentage saved you got the better deal.

The 320gb is worth around $140 (so around 30% saving) but the 1gb Toshiba USB sticks are worth $10, (saving around 50%).

I didnt think they would have the GH3 packs on the shelf. but i tried my luck and went into HN at 5.45pm.. there were 6 copiesof the bundle packs on the shelf..ticket price was $152.00, thought id take the risk and if they say no 40% then simple wasnt gonna buyt it… but luckly enough 40% was taken off the price :) so got it for a cool $91.00 :) awesome!
