various places online sells less than $80….

not a bad deal…but can be better.

BTW…this game is awesome…spent 35 hours+ and could only complete 39.8% of the game…

MASSIVE and BEAUTIFUL!

I guess it depends on whether you want it tomorrow or if you can wait a few days.

Besides, most of the copies are the unedited UK version…I’d rather have the Aussie version.

You can get this from torrents days ago. Good if you have a modded console.
I pre-ordered mine from ebay (overseas) because the Australian version is edited (read: less action & all round fun!)

Because for some stupid reason Australia thinks we don’t need a rating over MA 15+, and games are either banned or dumbed down if they reach above that rating. But with the games becoming more next-gen, they are going to be more realistic, and obviously have a much greater impact, so it only makes logical sense to have a rating for them.

And getting the edited version of THE most anticipated (so far) game of the next gen consoles isn’t worth it.

Great price. Big W pre-orders were $84 and JB-HI-FI have had it for $79 on their website at one stage.

You mean the game publishers know how to rip off the fans. The merchants can only rip you off if they actually get the stock from the publishers in the first place.

Went to EBGAMES at 11pm on Tuseday my preorder limited edition that came with all the goodies, tell you what, a bag + hard metal safety deposit box + extra music CD + art work book + 1 month of xbox live gold.

Its surely worth the “rip-off” price.

The girlfriend wanted to get another copy just for have the safety deposit box for her “treasures”.

@ JB Hi Fi You can get GTA4 standard edition for free if you trade in your old games. Free is better than $109 or $87 or $84 or $78
