Fares are for travel on selected flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, are one way, and are subject to availability. Fares are non-refundable and name changes are not permitted. JetSaver Light fare rules apply. All travel is subject to the Jetstar Conditions of Carriage. See Jetstar.com for more details.
another thing to add is that it is notoriously hard to purchase tix online from the jetstar website. last time they had a big sale i wasted 2 hours trying to buy tix!
I reckon there are few people can really buy these cheap tickets.
Jetstar can actually offer $4 ticket on sale every night, 10pm or something like that
Not many serious travelers book ticket at that time and noone is able to buy any sale ticket (because server is crashed) :D
To all posting here…
What deal?? If people cant access it, then its NOT a deal.
Its like Domino’s and maybe there’s a pun here….
Why we keep posting these deals and voting for them when
- They can’t be accessed
- They have another a week later
- You can get on Jetstar’s mailing list and find out the “deal” for yourself
- It just clutters up this site….
is beyond me, but thats just one opinion - Smile
maybe a listing on how to get onto these companies mailing lists would be more appropriate - ie Tiger, Virgin, Jetstar and then leave the airline promo’s to the ones who do it occasionally like AirNZ, Qantas - I dont know exactly - but there has to be a better way especially as this site gets more popular.
Well it’s worth a shot… The interstate sales I wasn’t successful however the overseas (next day) sale seemed was less congested and I booked tickets. A lot of posts ie; borders, OO.com.au and I’m sure there’s more come from a mailing list, it doesn’t seem that cluttered yet.. but as more sites catch onto promoting their sales it may be an issue. Maybe then a filter can be made for you.
Lol and maybe create a safeway petrol docket pool where people can upload safeway petrol dockets for people unsatisfied with the offer..
I know it’s getting a bit complex but there will need to be a button ‘I HATE THIS OFFER’ which presents them with a petrol discount voucher.
Or maybe we can have another Tab - ongoing deals - that being deals that have not expired like these. Where we can list the “mailinglist’ or the “tips” like how to get more toppings on your dominos Pizza.
Another example is Ausspecs where there is a 10% offer and a good deal, but is now “lost”. Likewise moneybackco deals like sportingbet with $90 money back. These are all good deals which we can’t repost as they are the same.
I guess my point with my “bitch” is that these weekly promo’s that dont work for most are hiding the ongoing good deals that do.
I’ll start a discussion in the forums

Good deal if you can predict almost a year in advance when you want to travel.
