eBay Plus old members really sucks…. really no point…
Old feeBay Plus member here - didn't pay, signed up for the 3 months trial last year. Bought the same SSD for effectively $155 (thanks to the $45 cashback from Samsung and the feeBay discount deal last December).
Still yet to find a real bargain deal for me to create a new feeBay account to use this 15% discount.
Why so salty, i got the same good deal
The cashback promotion has finished. So even with the 15% off, deals from last year (for feeBay Plus - after the cashback) were still better.
So strictly speaking, old feeBay Plus members would have been better off buying one last year.32% discount is required for new feeBay Plus members to achieve a better deal than those who got one last December.

Wow eBay way to go, start penalising the people who started supporting you earlier. That's insanity. I'm glad I cancelled my free eBay Plus (okay most of us here aren't paying for ours but we're buying more because we have it)
Generally the way retail works in Australia. You see it time and time again with phone companies, car insurance, internet etc. Reward new customers and give existing loyal customers no incentive to stay.
It's why I change telcos every 12 months if I can find a better deal.

I've been finding Amazon Prime to be more value in these last few months. I'm actually PAYING for that and keeping it so far. I find if I buy at least 1 thing a month it pays for itself in free shipping, which I've been easily doing so far. There is enough free shipping on eBay that I never felt I got the same value overall.
$207.20 with coupon code POOLTIME from seller Futuonline regardless of new or old account on eBay. Not sure about delivery for non eBay Plus members, free delivery for eBay plus members. There may be cheaper deals available than the one I've posted.

I ended up calling Samsung a days or two before the 15 working days were up because it was getting close to Christmas. The lady that took my call was very helpful, looked through my application to confirm everything needed was there and then manually bumped me up to the next stage, got my final approval email 2 weeks after that
