    with the discounts on base fares sometimes the price will be higher then the original price as it removes the previous discount.

    Over the last month.. lots of AirAsia flights before July was $200. After July many flights $180 I think.

    So prices have actually went up…

    Prices the same yesterday as today after an apparent 20% discount. It's just they've added the words "20% discount" under the fare price and show what the price would be with 20% on top of the current price.

      scoot does it too. with there 15% off base fares but sometimes they do have discounts that apply to current prices.
      airasia recent discounts have been on base fare and override current discounts which can be more then 20%

          It's risky. That's a public holiday on your return.
          It's also getting close to some big events like thai new year.

      if you already paying almost the economy high fare for other airlines, might as well add a bit more go for AA premium. otherwise pretty meh if you travelling during day time which you don't really need flatbed (it's not really flat btw, there's still an angle).
