The 1TB external has been seen for no less than $299 (promotions aside) until now. So $31 saving. However the picture in the catalogue is of the OLDER model. Not sure if that’s what is actually being sold. The newer model has a vertical blue line to indicate power/activity.

Well you can bet given that it’s Harvey Norman it’s probably the older one :P What? Those 30 unattended staff members with no knowledge wandering around the store when you go in need to be paid too!

The WD passport 320GB for $228 from a reputable retail seller looks good as well.

320Gb Passport is $199 from OfficeWorks. Wish they made a “pricing error” on the 2.5” 320GB like they do on the 3.5” 1TB.

This is not cheap at all. 1GB USB for $8. I can get one at my local computer shop for $3.
