Healthy Females Required CMAX is seeking healthy females for a clinical trial investigating a new treatment for depression and other mood-disorders. However, volunteers are required who do not suffer from depression or other mental health disorders. Positions will be filled on a first come first served basis. They are calling for volunteers to help us conduct this study who fit the following criteria:

Are generally healthy Are mentally healthy Are female aged 18 to 65 Are not using the contraceptive pill The trial requires volunteers to undertake a screening and follow-up visit, and a 32 day confinement in the CMAX unit. During this time volunteers will have access to recreation facilities, internet, TV’s etc, may receive visitors, and supervised excursions will be conducted. Participants will be remunerated $4,770.00 for lost time and inconvenience. Cab vouchers for transport to and from the CMAX unit will also be provided.

The trial is being conducted at the CMAX facilities within the Royal Adelaide Hospital by medically qualified professionals, and has received full ethics committee approval by the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee.
