I tend to get my reviews from these guys. Too bad they haven't covered any of those.

Honestly these games have been around a long time and are highly reviewed. Time to switch from hasbro.

    • You haven't heard of any of those? Do you live under a rock?!

      • You can't tell me you have not played "Exchanji: A Magical Gender Swap Board Game of Romance"??

    • Here I’ve only been playing for a few months (since a friend introduced me to Catan) and I’m well aware of (and own) a few of the above.
Go into any game shop - not just the game section of a store like Target, Big W etc, and you’ll find a load of those listed.

    • If it makes people feel any better, I know of a lot more in the link :D

Sushi go party is 23$ odd
Hanabi from US with prime is $15.45
    the Aussie one is $14

    • is too. thanks for that.

      • didn't have to remove it as it is similarly priced to the mind
btw I've played the mind, and didn't like it
am I the only one who didn't?

        • i haven’t played but posted coz it was nominated for SDJ
I’ve played hanabi - which i enjoy every now and again

        • The Mind is a hit with my family. Most of them don't care for the more complicated games in my collection and we love the cooperative aspect.

  • Think you have left the word shipping out of the title?

  • Looking for something $19-$20 to pair with patchwork

sorry I should have mentioned I'm trying to get one from here

my target "audience: is between 8 and 12 :)

        • not sure if you can find any around $19-20.

Kingdomino is relatively simple but is $18 sth
Santorini is quite easy to play too. but $30

            have both :)

            racking my brains
            want patchwork

    • for 8-12yo? sushi go party works with younger kids and sub-$25 is a good price (also gives you flexibility for larger groups of casual players). Or if they like escape room games, Exit or Unlock (generally the first search result of each has many of the titles available (you can choose which) and they range in price from $15 up to $40, bit bizarre)

      • Thanks
        Considered exit game
        Saw a dicetower review
He said you have to bend/ break part of the board to escape?
        Which limits replayability.

He said that's ok as the games are cheap, which must be the case in the US :)

        • Yeah, Exit are one shot, you destroy the components. I only buy at around $15 (though compared to the price of an actual escape room, they're pretty cheap). Reckon they're good for 2-4 people, (2-3 better), because there's one booklet that everyone needs to see and otherwise it feels like someone doesn't get to contribute

  • Good price on forbidden sky thanks

The Mind is a really fun simple little game. Totally worth it at $15 and makes for a good present and something to do with kids (7+).

    • And infuriating when you get to the last level and it goes horribly wrong!! 😂

    • if you like the mind I would highly recommend picking up hanabi if you haven't already.

      • I haven’t, but now will definitely check it out. Thanks!

  • Picked up Sushi Roll for $28, thanks

  • Some prices have changed
    Imhotep now >$60
    Takenoko >$60

Am i doing something wrong? I can't see any specials. For example Kingdomino is showing as $35 for me - https://www.amazon.com.au/Blue-Orange-Games-03600-Kingdomino…

    • The same thing is happening for me.

  • The sale is history
    Thanks OP
    Have expanded my collection
Need 7 wonders and Ticket to Ride
Please let us know when another sale is on

    • Both top games!

    • what did you end up pairing for patchwork?
i’ve got my eyes out for 7 wonders too.
TTR:E has been down to around $40 a few times over the last say 6 months.
Best bet is to save items to wishlist and checkback.
      I’ll be on the lookout

      • TTRE- did score this when it was last $40

Where do I save a wishlist? On Amazon?
Do they then notify you when there's a price drop?

TTR was $38 in November as per camel and 7W was <$55

        • nah they don’t notify. that being said, there are random emails and that’s how i scored TTR:E in Jan.
Near the “buy now” there should be “add to wish list”.
I put it on wish list because if it’s in shopping cart, then it wont qualify for cashrewards/shopback.

    • Also waiting for TTR to go on sale

  • Ahhh yess Risk.
One of the greatest games of all time and still going strong.

    Thanks OP!

  • Thanks. Got a Mario Cart Monopoly for my son.
