  • Spend $3500 or More, Get $50 Back

OP - you might want to edit this :)

    • +25

Might as well be $3,500! These are getting worse each time.

      • I couldn't agree more!

  • +4

At least this doesn't exclude gift cards like the previous years. For those in Brisbane, will be interesting if HN Oxley enforces their "no buying gift cards with Amex policy"

    • +4

Then unfortunately they lose business. Go to another Franchise.

    • +3

Damn, you remind me HN Oxley, I visited there last time in 2016 and never come back although my home is just 5’ away.

      • +2

You never went home even though it's 1.5m away?

    • Yea, HN oxley sucks. Get the gift cards online

  • +5

ALL YOUR VISA PREPAID CARD ARE BELONG TO US.

    • They took them off the shelves last time and disabled the option on the machine.

      • +6

In case they dont sell giftcards, note that you can pricematch items on sale in Amazon Au then double dip with this cashback, i.e nintendo switch or gopro wait for them on sale, just fyi you can do it via chat

        • +4

I just purchased $350 of egift cards. Received an instant notification from Amex that I had used my offer, now pending HN "order review"

          • @MaXcon: Like domayne deal last time .

          • @MaXcon: Did you buy HN egiftcards or their range of spotify/Uber/luxury escape e-gift cards?

          • +4

@MaXcon: My order has been processed, received all my egift cards :)

      • I know but wanted to reminisce. The last offer in December I bought HN gift cards instead.

        • What do you do with HN gift cards?

          • +2

@evgpek: Use them to buy merchandise from Harvey Norman, I presume 🤔

    • +1

      Thank you!

    • Therefore not targeted? Thank you!

      • +2

Nope; successfully saved on my DJs Amex and Velocity Escape

  • +2

This deal would be good for anyone looking for a Nokia 7 plus - $379 after $50 back
Seems like a good price compared to this Nokia deal which doesn't include the 7 plus

    • Decent phone, had mine 3 months and no complaints

  • Thanks Op, was able to register all Amex cards :)

    • -2

Do you have more than one…? How do you do that.

      • +2

It’s a credit card. A lot of people have more than one

      • Apply supp cards for your family.

  • +1

Amex love to post these deals when we're asleep. Thanks op anyway, save it to my and ms card :)

    • +2

Of course not. You signed up, it's gone.

    • +3

      The name's Move, Dick Move

  • Targetted to AMEX users haha.

  • Thanks. Saved to all my cards

  • thanks op, more offers pop up at the end of financial year

  • Thanks OP saved to all my cards

  • Thanks saved it to my card. Used the same offer to purchase a qc35 last year, still thinking how I can put this into good use

  • Thanks OP

  • Got this on both my essentials and discovery cards

  • Thanks. I used manual links for the registrations.

  • Remove targeted tag. Manual links work for me, did not otherwise show in my offers. Looking for some cashback offers on decent dishwashers and ovens now, I have some that need replacing, and a friend that works there will help me out with a good price, so good price + cashback + amex cashback = win [crosses fingers].

  • While the offer is not for AEG, Apple, Asko, De Dietrich, Elica, Fagor, Falcon, Gaggenau, Miele, NEFF and St George products, we can still buy gift cards and use them to checkout the above products, right?

    • I'd assume so being different activities

    • +1

They can't tell for Apple. I bought an iPad pro from Harvey Norman and got the credits

      • can you split the payments to 2 amex cards so that you get 2 x $50 cashback?

        • If HN will let you (and I understand that they normally do), then yes.

        • yes

        • Yes, but Harvey Norman Auburn will ask for matching ID if the cards aren't in your name

        • +1

Can you split payments across supplementary cards? And redeem cash backs on them too? Or am I just being too greedy.

          • +1

@PorkHunt: Yes, see above comment from me. Had to drag my dad along with me as one card is in his name

          • +2

@PorkHunt: Yee, you can. I used four cards to buy a fridge not long ago and saved $400 (back in the good old days when the cash backs where $100 per card).

      • +3

Kudos to you kerfuffle for your service to this community - i’ve seen you clarify this very question about apple products every time a HN amex offer has come in last 2/3 years!!
        Saaaaalute!!

  • Thanks OP, Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones $395, now for $345 for me after $50 cashback from AMEX. Sweet! :)

    • +5

Why do people keep thinking ~$350 is a great price? It's not. We don't need to hear about it until $330 or less.

      • +4

I'm further getting TRS GST back, there you go…

  • Does anyone know if Harvey Norman will price match an AU eBay listing?

    • Tried twice before and no

    • +1

I dont think so, but I have price matched with Appliance online ($50 difference), Bing Lee, The GY, Jb Hifi, Office works, MSY no problem

      • sorry, do you mean Harvey norman can price match Appliances central online ebay store? Just want to clarify as i want to buy sth there.

        • Not ebay store, its own store.

For AO you may need to try different chat person and phone call as I got rejected but after trying different time of the day, the third time get it through.

    • Depending on the eBay store I believe

  • Online eGift card order rejected/declined
Thanks for placing your order with us. However after careful review, we have decided to not accept your order. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    • +1

They did this for me when I tried for Domayne offer last year. Still sent the GCs through eventually though so keep an eye out.

      • How long did it take for the giftcards to come through even though your order was rejected?

      • ok never mind, the GCs have started filtering through. For others who get their order rejected, my GCs emailed through about 10-30mins after I got the rejection email.

  • +1

Our system is not responding at this time, please try again later.

    :-(

  • How do people use multiple cards for this, do you just ask and they are cool with it?

    • +1

Yes. Some may ask for ID if the cards aren't in your name

  • I just bought a Nswitch last week at JB at a normal price then this shows up. I knew I should’ve waited for a bit. Oh well

    • +1

Return change of mind, buy again?

      • -2

Good luck returning stuff to hn, esp change of mind.

        They’ll laugh at you.

      • Almost forgot that, good point but I guess wifey can’t be bothered doing that. Still a $100 savings tho!

        • +1

buy new from HN and return unopened one

    • -1

Break that things and claim for defect unit. Not happy and get refund. That's always work.

  • does it have to be $350 spent all in 1 transaction or can it be $300 today and $50 tommorrow spent at HN as in the past?

    • +1

The latter. It's in the OP …

  • Can iTunes GCs be bought with HN ones?

    • You trying to pay off the IRS already huh?
I heard they also accept bitcoin

      • Wrong country mate.

  • +1

Ordered 3x100 + 1×50 gift cards. Worked perfectly. Received the gift cards.
Try sending the gift cards to another email address if you are having issues.

  • Excludes payments made for AEG, Apple, Asko, De Dietrich, Elica, Fagor, Falcon, Gaggenau, Miele, NEFF and St George products.

I wonder, how would AMEX know what we buy.

    • +1

They don't. I've been paid out on Apple on two different offers

    • I think Harvey Norman mega stores might have different cash registers for some brands, including Miele. But I could be wrong. I know that Amex often excludes items in it’s terms where this might occur. Amex doesn’t know, it just depends on the cart/register

      • Asko card purchases are processed through an Asko website, so they actually are excluded. Apple purchases are made using the HN POS system, so no, there's no way for them to enforce that exclusion.

  • Seems to have reached the 30k registrations

  • +1

If I buy HN gift cards, can these be used at Domayne furniture

    • Yup, HN and Domayne accept each other gift cards without any issues. It is even printed on the gift card itself.
