This deal is back again!

$2 bonus cashback with the purchase of any Woolworths gift cards, with minimum face value at $5. That's on top of the instant 5% you'll get off.

Separate promotion from the last deals, so shouldn't be any issues grabbing the bonus cashback again.

Terms and conditions

  • To qualify for the $2 Cashback Bonus, you must purchase a WISH gift card of any face value from Woolworths Gift Cards between 17 June 2019 12:00 AM - 17 June 2019 11:59 PM AEST through ShopBack.
  • You will see a Woolworths Gift Cards "Calculating" entry in your ShopBack account within 7 days to confirm that you've made your purchase. The $2 cashback bonus will then be credited separately into your ShopBack account by 1 July.
  • Limited to one bonus per qualifying customer.
  • Accounts that engage in fraudulent activities will be banned and ineligible for the bonus offer.
  • Customers must redeem at least $10 confirmed Cashback from general purchases in his/her Cashback account to withdraw the $2 Cashback Bonus.

    I don't get why these small dollar value deals are so popular. Unless you're already in the habit of buying WOW cards, the headspace taken up by buying a $5 card, keeping track of the card details and then making sure I spend it (and spend it on something that is actually worth buying) is just not worth $2.

      Their app is really handy for this. You can add gift cards directly to it from your email and it updates balances for you.

        I found this to be a far simpler process than being offered $2 for installing something to do with CashRewards which I gave up with trying to do.

        Very simple process to get 45% off a $5 card.

        But why only $5? Do the $5 people not use Woolworth cards normally? If so then you are choosing to go to Woolworths just to spend $5 which is a bit more than 1 minute of your time.

        Which in that case you will still need to spend more than $5 to use the card which then requires you to do split payment.

        If you are trying to get in the habit of using Woolworths cards then wouldn’t getting more than $5 makes more sense then?

      The point is most ozbargainers already regularly buy their egift cards at 5% off regardless of this deal. This $2 is just like a bonus for little to no extra effort.

      Maybe it's just me, I only buy my woolies GC's in smaller denoms ($100) so it's helpful to time the purchase inline with these.

      Usually because by doing all these little savings by many different companies throughout the year you can save a $100 or so a year. It would be nice to be in a position such as yourself that you can't be bothered to spend 5 minutes of your time to save a couple of dollars but not everyone is in that position or values their free time so highly.

      I buy the $5 card to get the maximum discount of 5% plus the $2 cashback. I normally get my giftcards at more than 5% off so would be losing my maximum benefit by buying any more than 5%.
      Plus the woolies app makes it super easy to track and it's easy at the self serve counters to use multiple cards in one transaction - effectively only takes me about 30-60 seconds extra so it's not much more time for myself.

      Mine has taken anywhere from 1 to 12 hours. If I'm in the shops and don't have enough money on my gift card, I buy one from RACQ or Suncorp as they are instant.

      Have you tried submitting a report to shopback? They're pretty good with tracking reports.

      The last $2 bonus for Woolworths gift cards only came through on my account on 12/6 (bought the gift card 27/5).

      First time? Possible reasons I know,

      Odd email address referred to Woolworths (change to hotmail/gmail), use Coles Gift MasterCard(or other prepaid cards)

        Looks like Woolworths has problems with some credit cards. Failed with Coles M/card. Worked with another c/card. Frustrating. Had to waste time checking with my card provider who said it was a retailer problem as no transactions had come through. Lost more than $2 worth of my time.

    I purchased my gift card on 17 June (tracked fine) and got an update this morning saying cashback has been confirmed, however the cashback amount is $0! Hopefully this updates to the $2 over the next few days otherwise will need to contact them.

    Interesting, just got my $2 bonus showing up as tracked this morning in a separate entry (Woolworths Gift Card Bonus). However the note says it'll be added to my account 5 days after I earn $10 confirmed cashback from purchases.

    Maybe cos I am relatively new to Shopback, I haven't yet accrued $10 of cash back?

      I questioned that too and it is to do with the status of your claims. When you first get a cash back it is tracked and once the business validates the claim it changes to confirmed. When you have $10 of transactions with confirmed then you cab withdrawal the money.

    anyone knows when this month's bonus offer would be available? need to stack up on woolies gift card and this monthly bonus offer is a great option to save with essentials. have been a regular user of this offer since march for both myself and partner :)
