  • +2

My favourite time of the year.

    • +10

The monthly 50% Dr Oetker pizza time?

      • Well hasn't been 3.75 for a while and all varieties

        • $3.75 was available across the range from Woolworths last month

          • +1

@Cluster: Well, some of us happen to be banned from entering Woolworths.

        • Is half price right now in IGA and Leo’s if you cannot wait.

Better stock up on iTunes Gift Cards for when the ATO calls.

15% off your tax bill is a no brainer

    • lol

The new Cavolo flavour is a winner. Seems to only be available at Woolworths though.

Coles just doesn't go the extra Km for its customers, IMO.

I met a woman near the (imports fr France:) "St. Dalfour"
fruit spread, when they had 'em for $3 each… She was
bemoaning the fact that Coles never shelved Blackberry

Here, it's pizza selection they lack in…

I thought you were starting a limerick here….

Gonna have to put a second freezer in the garage for this now…….. cheers guys.

  • I enjoyed the Quattro Formaggi last time it was on sale, what else is good?

    • I love the Quattro Fromaggi.

Not crazy about the Hawaiian, but the Spinach was great.

      • +1

Anyone recall how nice the "original" (imported?) Dr Oetker's base was, esp. in Spinach

        Small (& thin) is Beautiful!

  • So how good is a $4 frozen pizza?

    • +6

For $3.75 you can find out yourself

    • +1

They are good, it's on a thin base though so won't fill you up as much as dominos.

  • I never buy itunes giftcard in coles before, just wondering is it possible to pay itunes gift card with coles egift card?

hopefully no-body local to me reads this post because i don't want competition at my local

but i find the non-frozen pizzas in the deli section far better value not to mention better tasting

theres the cheap d'agostinos version for $3.5, pepperonis and supremes are great and then you have the delightful premium version in picasso… real chicken and bacon on a bbq base, and the supreme (albeit with pineapple) are both excellent

they shit all over any of the frozen pizzas tbh, especially the overpriced dr okkers

talking about woolies deli section here, probably exactly the same as coles anyway

    • +1

Yeah but I have a ceoliac in the family so the deli section is not to be trusted. This brand has a GF version. Not often on sale though.

      • probably should avoid pizza altogether than tbh

i'd probably go keto if gluten was a big deal

    • +2

Coles' own Refrigerated pizzas have thick, dead, bases, IMO.

Current Oetkers are better, but the ones I could enjoy BEFORE
they stopped importing 'em were heavenly!

When will the McCain or Oetker folks LEARN: "Less is More"
      (ie, if it's a great pizza Base)…?

      • I agree!
Dr Oetker pizzas by far have the best base compared to any other brands.
They're simply better tasting than the pizzas sold at the deli.

The Spinach one is crazy good. Love it.
