There are heaps of online providers that do free SMS aren’t there? Hence this is not really a bargain? One example is http://www.freesmsmate.com.au/

Hmm… www.freesmsmate.com.au seems to be pop-up heaven. On the other hand, smsglobal.com.au seem legitimate.

To prevent your account being cancelled (i.e. to maintain your 225 free SMS) you must purchase credit within a month of opening your account (https://www.smsglobal.com.au/termsofuse.html).

So if you plan on using those credits for more than a month, the deal is $1 for 235 SMS. (225 free credits + 10 credits for $1).

Mm I tried testing this and it doesn’t seem to work? I registered and verified my account, but when I tried sending messages to myself (another number) I don’t receive them

@osim: mate, u could at least acknowledge that “your” deal was actually first mentioned here by ronnknee. and “your” deal is only for sending sms to Australian mobiles, not overseas as well as this deal.
