½ Price Cheetos Flamin' Hot Puffs 90g $1 @ Woolworths

580

Hi all,

'A friend' found this for me. Not as good as the crunchy ones but still the cheapest I've ever seen for the 90g packet. Usually $2 at Woolworths and a lot more online.

Still waiting for Colesworth to sell the crunchy versions at crazy prices.

When did they start selling it? it's also $3.50 for the party bag at my local IGA

    • They sell it for $3 in Coles for the Party Pack.. i bought 10 straight away when i saw an unopened box waiting to be put on the shelves 😂

    • What is the weight of the party bags?

I calculated this deal to be $11.11 per kg if you are buying a 90g bag for $1.

Wondering what the party bag works out to be $ per kg.

Tried it the other week. It's actually pretty spicy, would buy again.

You should try the XXtra Flamin' Hot Crunchy ones!

Tried them in the US. They are way better than these flamin hot puffs. Wish we had those here.

        • They sell them at a lot of the "lolly" shops or usa food shops but way overpriced, I wish they bought back the original cheetos they're way better than twisties :(

          • @CheapoJohnno: they charge $10+ for a bag of the flamin' hot cheetos at those USA food stores.. no thanks!

      • They sell a Carolina Reaper version at the Stafford City shopping centre speciality candy store… Too much nope for me on those

If you have an arsehole neighbour or want to ruin a beach day for some dick then you should know that feeding these to birds is basically instant diarrhoea artillery.

I'm sure cruelty to animals is illegal… If you get caught

  • I only learned yesterday that woolies sell these. Saw it in someone's trolley as I left and ran back to buy some. None in stock :(

    • +13

Pro tip: just take from other people's trolleys.

        Yoink

They haven't purchased it yet so it's not theft.

        • I'd argue even though they hadn't purchased the item they were in lawful custody of it.

That being said, we wouldn't be interested and would leave it up to the manager if he wants to ban you or not

          • @kronicmacstigator: I'd argue they don't own the trolley, the supermarket still had custody of it ;)

It's not theft, it's copyright infringement.

      • You see, by the time I saw the empty shelf… Well I didn't bother to look at the person thinking I should remember who they are in case I wanted to raid the trolley. However I do remember their frame (bc that's what was in the background of the Cheetos in the trolley) and if she sat on me it woulda hurt reeeeaaal bad

      • I saw people at Woolworths fight over a $10 copy of Coral Draw. People lined up for it in the morning, it was crazy. The price was good though so fortunately I was much faster at running than the old ladies and didn’t need to fight anyone.

  • 2 days but i want it now

Going to woolies hope I find them

  • My fav cheetos is the crunchy cheddar jalapeños. Why cant they sell it here???

    • I've seen these at the Sugar Station at Southern Cross (Melbourne) About $9 for a ~200g pack

      • +2

        I’m sorry, $9?!?

      • +1

wow that is crazy $ per kg if those are correct prices and grams

  • +1

    Costco sell these

    • +1

      $5.89 for 365g

      • $16.14 per kg for the Costco one versus $11.11 per kg for this Woolworths one

wow this deal is pretty great unless anybody knows any better ones

      • Costco usually reduce their prices to match or undercut Colesworths weekly specials

  • The regular hot Cheetos are better than the puff ones..

The regular hot Cheetos resemble a twisties chip

    • I doubt Frito Lay/Smiths would sell Crunchy Cheetos in Australia simply because they also sell Twisties, which is a very similar product

      • You can buy it from some Asian groceries.. except it has Asian writing all over the packages

        • What is asian writing?

          • @first in line: I have one that's Korean and I'm sure I've seen it in Chinese.

Not sure if your being serious. But I'm trying to be inclusive

  • these Cheetos ain't comparison with those Korean ones.

    • Where to get them and what's called

      • Most Korean or Asian shops sells them, they are more expensive but worth the taste.

      • Cheetos they called Cheetos but made in Korea; they taste better.

    Hey Wtf!!!
Sice when we got this in Aus? I was searching of importing some from US just last week wowooow thanks for posting

  • None in Brisbane woolies! Disappointed

  • never going back after trying korean & chinese cheetos OMG

  • STokked. I've come across an IGA and local deli selling the flamin cheeto originals for 9$ 250g.

    • $36 per kg sounds like quite a bit for some cheeto snacks hard pass for me.

  • $11.11 per kg if my maths is correct ($1.00 / 0.09kg = $11.11 per kg)

  • +1

Got em I was waiting for woolies to open

  • Normal price at my local, cheese and bacon balls half price instead

    • All 90g varieties of Twisties/Cheetos/Burger Rings should be on sale for $1

      • Yep my mistake they just didn't have the flamin hot ones marked

  • Plenty in stock at Woolworths QV…

  • Okay these are great, but has anyone else been vomiting the morning after eating a bag?
