Doing a lookup on StaticIce for the WD2500BEVS drive on the specs page from Mwave comes up with this:
http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=WD2500BEVS
The drive is 5400rpm, which is normal for a 2.5”, and has 8mb buffer. MSY have it for $97.
The Case is 1 Year Warranty. Hard drive inside is 2 Years Warranty. If the Hard drive is faulty you can return it to us and we will repair/replace the unit for you. You can contact WD directly but they will tell you to return the product to us.
Good thing its sata and not ide because I just bought a 2.5 inch hd and it cost more! (my laptop only takes ide)
could i pull out the drive, stick it in my ps3, then put the 40gb ps3 drive in that? coz that would be awesome… basically a free HDD caddy
yeah the original ps3 drive is SATA, also 5400rpm as well :)
The post didn’t include shipping cost to SA. Is that mean free shipping to SA? If so I’ll order 2 :)
