Looked like a nice whiskey posted amongst other alcohol deals

    • lol

  • Hand-y deal this one.

  • Perfect timing. Before sleep don't forget to wash our hands…

    • I thought that is more to like wash your hands before meal?

      • +4

It matters what you're doing when you go to bed, I guess.

    Same price at Coles iirc

      But this with cashback!

What is the carbon footprint if I just order 1 bottle and get it delivered … So much for green house reduction ..

    • Minimum order applies, 2 bottles.

    • +1

I felt too guilty to order this as well.

Can easily get it on special at Coles or Woolworths and nor have to worry about delivery.

    • Carbon footprint is probably similar to buying at the supermarket, if you recycle the packaging from delivery.

  • +2

Check out other flavors, they are in stock if you want immediately.
    I odered lime

I bought $200 worth of Quilton toilet paper from the Amazon deal a while ago and the two enormous cardboard boxes it came in weighed about as much as the toilet paper. There should be a way to convert cardboard into toilet paper.

    • +4

There is, but it is a pain in the ar$e to use cardboard that way…

  • I just order Isopropyl Alcohol Pure 100% Artists Choice 5 L for $29.95 - $3 ( code PANSUIT ) - $1.3475 (my normal %5 discount) = $25.6025

    For this deal $3.25 x 8 bottles = $26

That is 100% pure you only need to make %70 solution for cleaning ( hospital grade ) application. You can make 7 bottles + 300ml extra, it is convenience and use no water at all.

    • Great idea frewer. What is the concentrate % in an average spray and wipe?

      • From my research it is %30 water and %70 Isopropyl Alcohol. The water helps to deliver the alcohol to the organism cell membrane.

Or you can just follow this https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/7695/isoco… which is %64 Isopropyl Alcohol

        • Not a bad pick!

I went ahead with a jayco one on ebay 250ml for about $8.5 it's something like 99.8% to dip my feet into this hahhahaa.

Always wanted some rubbing alcohol now I can respray old dried alcohol wipes and use too. I'm sure there are many other good uses for this stuff.

            Differences in Percentages

            90 - 100%

The higher percentages of Isopropyl Alcohol are used for cleaning purposes like disinfecting, window cleaning, stainless steel cleaner and when you need to kill bacteria, as well as many other uses. The higher the percentage like Isopropyl Alcohol 100% the greater the evaporation rate, and it is great as it dries faster. The high grades of Isopropyl Alcohol 100% are suitable for the majority uses and is commonly used by industrial users and cleaners.

            Below 70%

A common percentage is Isopropyl Alcohol 70%, which is the grade recommended for rubbing alcohol when applying it to the skin. The lower grade of Isopropyl Alcohol 70% means that it is not as harsh to the skin, but it is still effective. Also, the lower grade is great for getting rid of the bugs off the plants and also disinfecting as the water content mixed with the alcohol fights against growing viruses and fungus.

So which one should you get?

No matter what the percentage, Isopropyl Alcohol 100%, Isopropyl Alcohol 99% or Isopropyl Alcohol 70% are beneficial product to have in the workshop and household. The many uses it has makes it a handy product to have around. Depending on your application will impact of the percentage.

All information provided is a recommendation. We cannot guarantee the uses as each application has various characteristics and therefore we cannot be certain it will work for you

    • Do you really want to be using this as a hand wash though?

      • I think both Frewer and I are looking at this as a disinfectant rather than hand wash as an alternative to keeping surfaces clean.

Cheaper than a dettol spray at roughly 50-70%.
