Had a look at Dell’s monitor page and noticed the 24” is now $799! Probably because it’s nearing end of financial year.

None-other - Go to their Dell Outlet site (link below) and you will find them cheaper. They normally have them for $719.00. If you can’t find your monitor, just wait a day or two and it will come up. The dell outlet has 2408WFP for $749 with 1 year warranty. Not a bad deal if you don’t have RACV membership and don’t want the longer warranty period.

This is a great monitor, I have one myself. Pair it up with a decent set of PC speakers and a HDTV receiver with HDMI and you’ve got a pretty handy TV.

Also plays Xbox 360 and PS3 in their HD fullness.

Oh yeah, that’s right it hooks up to your PC as well :)

And if you have NRMA/RACV you can get 10% off that price. Bringing it down to $730.

For those interested in specs, this monitor has a different panel, compared to the cheaper ones, which means you get a wider and richer color range.

How does it look with X360 hooked up via component? The previous model (2407) didn’t look good over component.

I agree..this is a great monitor. Dell is selling some great monitors now. I have a 22” (SP2208WFP) and it’s brillant. With such a big contrast number, the images on the Net/photos/vids come up amazingly.
